1 game .. thats what harbaugh gave us .. 1 game in which we felt like the niners of old . that game was agianst new orleons in the playoffs with alex smith . it felt good to get that win , felt like old times . Here we sit now humbled and embarressed , i can admit i wanted harbaugh and roman to succeed i liked them both . adjustments seem to be the problem , the niners fail to adjust to a game unfolding . who thought the niners might have a better second half ? i did . As in games before nothing haappened after a dreadful first half . lifeless and beaten to a pulp we folded in front of a national audience . i want harbugh gone now and roman , hoping fangio stays and hoping the niners brass go after indys offensive coordinator as our next head coach . on a final note id like to personally thank harbuagh for ruining our season and wasting gores few chances at a ring . absolutely hate harbaugh now .
I am thankful and have been spoiled to see them go to the NFCCG 3 years and although the super bowl loss still haunts me to this day. I think Harbaugh is still the best thing that the niners had, no other coach could have done what he did with the same core players drafted from previous head coaches! If this is the end goodbye.

Yea this regime's window has closed. I'm glad everyone is now convinced Harbaugh is done, I've been on this wagon for a while now so today is just another day to me.

Roman on the other hand... Off with his head (figuratively speaking of course).

Teams might have given their left nut for Kap back in 2012 perhaps. Incidentally, do you think teams will also give their left nut for RG3 now ? I doubt it, back in 2012 sure.
Last night I sped past denial to acceptance that Harbaugh is done here. Maiocco's post this morning cinched it for me.

York's public statement left the definite impression he believes action must be taken. General manager Trent Baalke, the person who assembled the 53-man roster, and York were seen speaking at length in the trainer's room located inside the 49ers' locker room afterward. That is not a typical scene following games, including their three humbling losses at Levi's Stadium.

When York and Harbaugh agreed on July 30 to table Harbaugh's contract talks until after the season, it set the stage for a make-or-break season. And although the 49ers (7-5) are clinging to slim playoff hopes, the 49ers certainly looked broken in front of a national television audience against their most-heated rival.

Harbaugh's tenure after this season has been in serious doubt since training camp. Now, it seems like a near-certainty he will not be back for the final season of his five-year, $25 million deal. The 49ers – and most teams -- are averse to having a coach enter the final year of his contract.

One source told CSNBayArea.com that Baalke was the last person resembling an ally that Harbaugh had among the team's hierarchy. And that changed a couple weeks ago when Harbaugh alienated Baalke to the point that it became unanimous a change should be made for the 2015 season.

Harbaugh is a goner. The offense is just too far gone. If any major adjustments are to be made, they should have done it long ago before it got to the point. Our season is over. Now is time to deal with the aftermath. Roman may be fired today and Harbaugh and the rest will happen right at the end of the season.
If Harbaugh has to go, I wonder the chances are of Hue Jackson being brought in as the head coach. He actually did a decent job in Oakland but caught a lot of the blame for Davis being a nut and the GM being garbage.

Why don't the Niners go after the Seahawks OC. If you can't beat them join them. The Seahawks offense is a simple read option scramble drill as reported by one poster on this forum. Imagine what he could do with Kap. How many times does Russell Wilson pass from the pockets. Look at his games yesterday against the Niners, the passes were mostly to backs and tight ends within a wide open window. Contrast this with the wide receiver centric offense of the Niners. Vernon Davis is not even involved in the offense any more it is more like our 10 against their 11. If Russell Wilson had to stand in the pocket and drive the ball down the field could not do it. In the losses this year when he had to he failed except for the game against Denver when he beat Denver with his feet. The Niners offense is looking for style points that say we must have a pocket passer when we should be looking for an effective QB that gets the job done like the Seahawks.

Sorry, Seattle's offense isn't much better, so no thanks.

This. Bevell is still a potato, he's just marginally less of a potato. He's smart enough to stick with what works and not run away from it like you'll set yourself on fire by sticking with it.

Cincinnati was 6th in points and 10th in yards last year with Jay Gruden as OC. This year with Hue Jackson they are 14th in points and 15 in yards.

They've also had a myriad of injuries at WR, especially to A.J. Green so that alone is not that shocking.

Kap does not equal RG3 (not even close). Not sure why you and other posters want to make the comparison when Kap has shown way more growth and sustained production. Yes he and the offense have hit a rough patch, but that happens. No need to be knee jerk drama queens every time a promising player has a horrible game.

What ? RG3 wasn't the next best thing in football in 2012 ?!

The point is not many teams will give their left nut to Kap now, back in 2012 sure. You think teams don't watch tape ?

Oh hey didn't you ask me to come back and eat crow yesterday after the 9ers beat the Seahawks ? I think is going to be you bud !! LOL.

He went 8-8 then got fired. OAK hadn't been at .500 in a decade almost. One year 8-8 then a new GM and then they fire Hugh. Stupid!

This. Hue got a raw deal, from what I understand, he was well liked by the players, experienced coach with a good offensive mind.

Another guy I'm intrigued by is Adam Gase of the Broncos. Yep, there's Manning and he's pretty much his own OC but Gase has drawn a ton of praise because of how detail oriented, how precise and how driven he is makes me think that he's a guy that can potentially be a very good offensive coach, a guy with a brilliant offensive mind that is more on the cutting edge of NFL offense.

Just like Harbaugh was in 2011, Gase is expected to be one of the really top head coaching candidates in 2015. He should have his pick of more than a few jobs.

Replacing Harbaugh though with a Michigan State guy...that would be just cold.

You don't see any irony? Half the webzone calling for Harbaughs head. What has our record been over the last 3 years?
