waste of time imo, for every Tom Brady or Romo, there are hundred of other failed late or undrafted projects

if we want a new QB, we have to go draft one high, it's not a position where you can afford to mess around with late picks and hope you beat the long odds

I am not wanting this by any means, just trying to assess the FO options. Can a coach be traded after the trade deadline?

I'd rather keep Harbaugh and fire Roman's @ss publicly. But if we are destined to lose Harbaugh, let's do it when we can get a first round pick from a s**tty team. Let's get high enough in the draft to get a guaranteed play maker like Amari Cooper...

Can You imagine if they traded Harbaugh and Kap together and got Mariota plus more picks..

If Harbaugh won't agree to get rid of his pet (Roman) and get a REAL OC... AND let the REAL OC call the plays on offense, then he can GTFO (SERIOUSLY)!!

Harbs is not an offensive guru, he just needs to be the head coach and allow the coordinators to do their jobs. I highly doubt that he screws around with Fangio. He might sit in on meetings, throw in his two cents and be involved a little bit when it comes down to the system... Fangio is competent and Harbs knows he doesn't need to do much on that side of the ball.

This year might be done with, but if Jed sticks with Harbaugh, then he needs to get a REAL OC and allow that guy to do his job!!

For the next 4 games, he and his pet, Roman, need to scrap that comic book that they think is a play book. Harbs needs to figure out what's with the players not executing... come up with better solutions!!

With 1 call Earl Thomas killed the blitz and called for a cover 2 dime package with Malcolm Smith lining up on Stevie Johnson.

So in other words, we have a mismatch with a LB on one of our best route runners and what do we do?

KaperMcNab is lost has been and will stay that way! I have hated this clown from day one! Well this season is over I do not believe even if we get in the tournament that we can produce enough offence to get the job done? Our Defense has been under par (Borland is a FREAK) missing tackles and the CB's get no help from the S's over the middle.Harbaugh should not get all the blame. Roman deserves the most thinking KaperMcNab can play the QB position at a pro level and he has failed! The run has been taken almost completely out of the play calling and the D is a mess! Right now, it's an (UGLY) three-headed monster. Harbaugh/Roman/Kap... I can care less (at this point) if they got rid of all three. Roman has to go for sure.

A real OC has to come in and command that spot w/out Harbaugh screwing around with the plays... we've had enough of his comic book that he believes is a play book!!

You guys are all missing the reason why we are so bad right now. Gore has almost been wiped out of plays??? What for a rookie 2nd round pick? Now that is the 49er way disrespect a future H.O.F player. Lott, Craig, Rice, Rathman I can go on and on! Gore will be gone next year and we can get ready for another round of subpar football.

Harbaugh needs to take a page of his older brothers playbook, grow a pair and fire his OC. Jim's loyalty aka stubbornness has completely killed our offense, the players don't have faith in the scheme, Roman should have been fired a long time ago ...

He's not much better than Kap. He buys time to pass the ball very well but generally all the mobile QB's are having a hard time becoming more refined pocket passers. Wilson has better touch on short passes though, and can find the open receiver better. But without a top defense/running game Wilson isn't carrying any team. Consistently.

I wouldn't think Wilson would be a huge improvement, maybe we'd have won the Bears, Rams and Seattle game if we switched QB's. Who knows. Me thinks the mobile QB's will all either improve from the pocket or decline.

You make no sense at all, who's fault is it that Gore is not getting the rock? Not Kap... That falls on the coaching staff. Im not a fan of Kaepernick but to say that Alex Smith, let me ask you this... How many TD's has Alex thrown to his WR this season? If it wasn't for Jamaal Charles, the Chiefs would be a disaster... FYI Smith and Kap have similar #'s and also share the same record after the Chiefs lose to the Broncos this week.
