This. I would add Carr seems like a smart player and kaepernick is the second dumbest qb in the nfl (rg3)

They're both bums at this point. At least RG3 knows how to talk to the media.

All the recent bandwagon fans, who didn't suffer through that, can embrace Harbaugh leaving much easier because they just don't know what it's like to loose before you start. Prepare for some rocky days friends (or find a new bandwagon)...

I've been a diehard niner fan for a long time been watching religiously since the Mariucci era. Suffered through all the crap in between however some of those "garbage" teams offenses were light years better than the crap we've seen this year. I want the offensive coaches gone (except Rathman) I believe when Romans firing is called for Harbaugh may refuse n tie their fates together. I personally like Harbaugh but he needs to refine his head coaching duties, drop his loyalty to some coaches and let an offensive coach do his thing like Fangios side of the ball. Sure lens helping hands, offer suggestions but focus on the overall picture, clock management, challenges and sideline etiquette. (Some of his rants and blow ups have gotten a little old)

Believe me when I in no way want the dark days back. I think this team is a great core of players with a lot of offensive players being under/misused. The identity crisis doesn't help. I think gore can stick around as long as he's still potent and I believe he is, stop trying to turn Kaepernick into a pocket passer. Use the weapon and true dual threat and not take away a true nightmare for the opposition. Ever since he's been put on the pocket QB leash he's regressed but I see the potential isn't lost
Colleen Kaepernick can take a hike. He's already cost us 2 superbowls. What a loser. Please 49ers....Draft a QB

Totally agree. This loss will tell Jed how serious the issues are and what needs to be done.

Is time to clean house Jed, at least start with Harbaugh and Kap.
A new OC will address Kaepernick not looking off the first guy. Also that will improve when Crabtree and his sub par attributes are gone. It's irritating watching him get all the opportunities in the world n yet he fails time n time again. IMO the other receivers on our roster have earned more than him this year.

How exactly has he failed? He has a few drops this year but nothing game breaking

I'm jealous of their QB and their high draft pick next year. Also of Khalil Mack. But sure, our team is still more promising. But it's not going to be easy finding those missing pieces (like a good QB).

Our QB has accomplished a hell of a lot more than theirs. Like I said, don't anoint Carr off today's performance. Kap did way more in his first 10 starts in the league than Carr has.

RG3 threw his entire team under the bus and started an ugly back and forth with his coach not more than a few weeks ago.

Too many people have opinions on things they know nothing about.
To answer this question legitimately . The only good thing about losing this game and this is a very small positive that I'd rather not have is we can stop living on the edge of our seats week to week about whether we will make the playoffs or not.

This loss basically ends any chance of that happening. I don't remember the last time I've been so excited for an off season to just get here.

Wel put, it's miserable but for some reason I don't feel nearly as dejected as I have been at other times this yer. I think it's because I expected this to happen; freakin sad but true..Owards, and hopefully upwards next season as we look forward to whippings by the Hags, Tards, Chargers at that great homefield advantage stadium call Field of Pants..booo

Some of us go back to the late 50's and 60's where losing was standard. Once winning becomes a habit, losing becomes that much tougher. There is no better feeling than watching your team get into the playoffs and making some noise.
