Which is why Kubiak makes the most sense out of Shanahan, Holmgren, and Kubiak.

Kubiak should be the hire. Shanahan #2.
Why isn't Kubiak in the poll?

He wasn't being linked at all to the 49ers before this thread got started over so he was taken out of the poll.

the San Francisco 49ers are expected to show interest in the former Houston Texans coach. The Jets are also expected to reach out to Kubiak if the Ravens lose.

Root for Pittsburgh.

Hmmm Kubiak HC, Trestman OC, Kubiak Handles running game, Trestman passing game.

Not going to happen but interesting concept, no?
Off topic but Colin Jones sighting in Carolina!

Kubiak and Trestman would make me very happy. If we keep Fangio too that is almost a dream setup.

Exactly, Mike the personnel guy let down Mike the coach. I won't dispute that, I think cutler has always been way overrated. I think Mike with a good GM (which I believe baalke is) is great situation. I have zero concerns about Mike the game coach or game planner.

Hire Kubiak:
2013 Ravens Offense Rank: 25th points, 29th yards (without Kubiak)
2014 Ravens Offense Rank: 8th points, 12th yards (with Kubiak)

Yeah, I wish the 49ers had held on to Jones, the whole Dahl signing would have been unnecessary.

I am hoping Rick Dennison would come be the OC. But Baltimore will probably make him there OC.
I just hope we can get a 3 headed monster in the HC, OC and QB coach. Some innovative minds willing and able to bounce ideas off of ea other. You gotta love what the Warriors were able to do and bringing in Gentry. The Warriors are the same team but are so much better

Mike was a good coach but he been living off those Superbowl wins for a long time.

I think he's another example of good head coach, bad GM.

This exactly right. He thought he could coach up any qb (which he did quite a bit), and that led to not getting that top notch guy. Aside from the 6-10 season in 1999, he was usually any where from 8-8 to a peak of 13-3 until the final year in Denver. Imagine if he bottomed out in one of those year and was able to land a rivers, Eli or Big Ben. Facts are he got pretty good production out of griese, Plummer and cutler. You could argue none of those guys played as good with out Mike as coach.

Cutler was picked 11th (Roethlisberger was picked 11th in 2004) and Shanahan still loves him. That was a Shanahan pick. He got his QB and went 24-24 with him.

Shanny also likes Kap but I guess he's wrong there as well

Yeah. Dont want them get to 7 first and with Bell out this week if they can get by they could gain some momentum

They could try but he's been Kubiak's guy for awhile, if he refuses to do the job, just like Fangio, its not like they could force him.
