How much money is this FO willing to throw out for the coaching staff lol? Mike wants to be a HC and he has stated that...you honestly think he would want to take orders from his son? Shanny likes power and he won't be getting it here.

I like Kyle and he might get a shot sooner or later as a HC, but as of now they haven't asked to interview him.

How would daddy be watching over everything he does? He would be the assistant HC. Lots of teams have them. It would be Kyles team, and Mike would be his close advisor. If i was getting my first HC position, and my Father, who had won superbowls and was still capable of coaching wanted to come on board to assist me in being successful, i would have no issues with that. You guys act as if these guys have never coached together.

How would daddy be watching over everything he does? He would be the assistant HC. Lots of teams have them. It would be Kyles team, and Mike would be his close advisor. Not a fan of the dynamic of having the superbowl winning dad, as an assistant for the young HC. Who has the credibility in the locker room? Whose team is it?

Just do not like that dynamic at all.

Plus Kyle could get Mike's advice without him being on the staff.

Just avoid this scenario, which is very very unlikely, and higher Kubiak.

Sorry. I messed up. @marykaycabot reported #Browns Kyle Shanahan is #49ers HC candidate, not that SF had requested permission to interview.
