The ravens line looks about the same size as our line
Really wishing the 49ers had drafted McCullers.....he's looking nice for a rookie.

This. If our roster was full of youth I would say go with the young hot shot. But this team is full of Veterans and I think a veteran coach like Kubiak or Shanny is a better fit especially with being able to get the leaders in the locker room behind the new coach. I feel it would be harder to get the veteran backing if it's a young hot shot coach.

They were largely a man blocking line as well until Castillo tried to install the zone blocking, he sucked at it though and after Kubiak came along it started to look far more organized, crisp and effective.

We need a vet for a bit and groom an OC for the future.

Not written in stone that a younger coach can't lead a vet team (Tomlin)

True Tomlin has a very commanding presence so I do not know about gase
Watching kubiak run this offense with bootlegs, roll outs, play action passes, and screens makes me hope we hire him badly

I keep imagining Kaepernick playing in this offense......keep having flashbacks of Steve Young running a lot of these same plays and it really starts to piss me off how stale the offense has been over the past few years.
