How do you figure?? The 49ers couldn't even make the playoffs until Jim Harbaugh was hired as head coach. The idea that Jim prevented the 49ers from winning is simply delusional, they didn't have a winning season for a decade. The 49ers had no idea how to win football games until he showed up.. A lot of people have ex gf syndrome around here.

if you saw the super bowl, then you know i speak the truth,,,,, so you can set there with a straight face and tell me it was ok to lose the super bowl , esp the way we did with the best run game in the nfl at the time taking a back seat to delusional roman enabled by jh,,,,,, its ok to lose the super bowl, its ok to go 8-8 and lose five half time leads, and score four points per game in the second half and have your players quit on you in games like seattle, when the coaches were not playing with any sense of urgency,,,,,,,, you are ok with all of that simply because,, pause for dramatic purposes,,,,,,,,,, it was better than what we had before jh came here/ that is delusional thinking.. speaking of x gf syndrome there are alot of people still in denial of how roman and jh f**ked this team up two ways to sunday this year,,,,, four years of not knowing how to run a nfl playclock? i guess we can just throw that into the folder marked" its better than what we had before jh came",,,,, thats fine for you but for many of us, that file got pretty f**king thick

yes i saw the memo,, its a honor just to get there. its better than what we had, roman deserves another year so he can tweak things. that is vomit inducing

well, i am confident who ever is the head coach knows , he has to get the best oc possible because the wasted potential of this offense is just a shame. i would think shanahan or any coach worth his salt would love to coach our team and get our hands on our offense. hell you could practically hear it from gruden when he did play by play for our games in the last two years

Good post - I agree. It doesn't mean I wasn't appreciative or took for granted what Harbaugh did to help turn this team around...yet I agree with what you've mentioned here after Year 4 of him and Roman.

when the players and coaches had no sense of urgency and no passion in a winnable game vs seattle, i flipped the switch off on the jh era. and when he mismanaged the clock so bad we had no time outs left vs the chargers which we could have used to move dawson a little closer to kick a game winner,,,, i ripped out the f**king socket on the wall so that switch could never be turned on again

ahhh, fellow old school poster one of the best games ever that no one talks about was 1976 when we we and the cardinals were 5-0, we had the best pass rush in the history of the nfl in the gold rush and the cards had the best o line in the history of the nfl, we won a great great game,,, made us 6-0. when willie mcgee broke his leg, we ended 8-6 and monte got fired
