It's interesting...haven't heard much about Tomsula as an HC candidate lately after hearing more about him as a possibility towards the end of the season. I wonder if they've already spoken with him about HC? I really hope he stays on as DL coach as that's where he seems best suited - I'd consider him DC material yet I don't want Fangio going anywhere in that role here so I hope Tomsula stays on as DL coach (maybe Okoye being re-signed recently is a good sign towards Tomsula staying?).

kubiakkk
would you be wanting to sub kubiak for shanahn or trestman? i think we could be a winner in any number of ways you want to arrange those names in regards to head coach and oc,,,, cept for trestman being the head coach
We won't hear rumors about oc's until we get our hc or at least narrow it down.

Great post
Please as to not base tomorrow's decisions on today's results, but rather base the long term future on the long term history....

that why i think Scott Linehan would be a great OC like what he did in dallas ...Linehan was brought in as a passing game coordinator N play caller ... or Frank Reich life long NFL back up QB he's help Rivers N that passing game tha last 2 years as OC

We wanted Linehan back when we hired Sing, then he interviewed and heard what Sing had to say and decided to join the 0-16 Lions

that probably should've been a hint that Sing wasn't the right hire

Initially I was against Shannahan as HC, primarily because of RGIII failure to progress once defenses figured him out. I know RGIII was hurt, but I question his work ethic and commitment based on some of Jay Grudens.

Since Kaep is a work-a-holic, Im wondering if the Weasel would have more luck with Kaep than RGIII?
Why not bring Ault as a QB coach ? OC may be too much for a 70 year old but Kaep would probably benefit.
Hes a consultant at KC so really any position would be deemed a promotion which teams can not deny.
