Yeah I didn't trust the aggressive playcalling. Roman is an aggressive playcaller. That's why we stink. He used te's ok. Need to see more.

Look at his win totals in HOU. 59 wins in 7 seasons with 0 playoff victories. Thats averaging 8 wins a year for 7 years and never being able to get out of the first round.
Hes a mediocre HC, which is why hes an OC now.
If he wants to come be our OC, id love to have him, but hes just not a championship caliber HC.
He was the second HC of an expansion team which botched their #1 overall pick back when those guys got paid more than proven all pros. He immediately improved both the team and the offense but it was still a team which was an expansion team 5 years before he got there. His offense has always been good and when his defense played well they won.
We have all the tools...just need the right scheme. He'd be a great fit provided our defensive coaches stay.

Jed/Trent do NOT listen to the fans. They're idiots. $100 says they will hammer you guys regardless of whoever is named HC. Trust your instincts. The last you did that, you ended up with the guy at Michigan.

I like the Mike and Kyle Shanahan idea. Let Mike instill his system for the next 5 years, and then Kyle can take over when dad burns out.
Time to revert back to a purer form of the WCO; I still prefer Holmgren, but I have no gripe with the Shanahans or Kubiak. But Shanahan sure sounds awfully good....better than guys like Gase and McDaniels who have become household names only bc of their quarterbacks and nothing more.

Fixed for what people likely said when the Pats signed the Hoodie.
Guys learn a lot from their first stint to their second. Not saying Kubiack would be on Belichick's level but ruling out someone because they didn't win a SB in their first go of it.

Should Seattle have given Pete a second chance at the NFL?

I do agree that he's probably better off as an OC.

In no particular order...
Gase
Kubes
Shanny
Any one of them equals a win IMO
PLEASE leave the defense ALONE!

Just picturing Kap running all those bootlegs off the zone running game. Defenses know it's coming, but it's difficult to stop. Perfect against defenses with great pass rushes. You have to move the pocket, and Kubiak is a master at it. Flacco was on an island at times, getting all day to throw off those play-action fakes. Kap has the added dimension of being able to run and pick up monster yardage.
Great OC's don't Always equal Great HC's. Case and point is Norv Turner.

It's got to be Shanny, Kubiak or Gase. Make it happen, Jed.

I like 2 of the 3 at least. I think Shanahan is too old and removed from success. His stint in Washington leaves a lot to be desired while working with a QB that has a similar style to the ours whom he ruined. No thanks.

Redskins were crap, besides RG's rookie season.
