Here is what #Cardinals Bruce Arians told me about Todd Bowles as a head coach candidate: "He's a great teacher, great communicator (1 of 2)

(2 of 2):and players love him. Very bright guy. He's soft spoken but a very good motivator and he can get on their asses as good as anybody"
Maybe Jason Garrett about to be available

Any talk of Niners asking to interview Pep yet?

Nope.

Pep is getting no love

For good reason. That offense is Andrew Luck or nothing.

We could say the same thing about P. Manning and T. Brady. History has shown it doesn't matter who their coordinators are the results are the same.

As for Pep, he was hand picked by Luck. Without Lick's consent Pep could very well still be the OC for Stanford. Luck wanting Pep says a lot about what Luck thinks about Pep as a coach.

Disagree. The fact that seasoned coaches like Shanahan and Holmgren have come out from the woodworks to show their interest in the HC vacancy on our team (note that none of those coaches have showed interest anywhere else) is telling to what this roster has to offer for the next few seasons.

I agree with Kolohe. I think Ed Werder said it best on ESPN a month or so ago. Ironically, Jim Harbaugh would be the most sought after coach, while the 49ers would be the most coveted HC vacancy. I think guys are salivating to come here -- I hope Jed and Trent take advantage of this and get a proven guy e.g. Holmgren, Shanahan, Kubiak.

Shanahan is interested in the Chicago job.

Oh please. He would take the SF position 1,000,000 out of 1,000,000 times

He's itching to come home

It's gonna happen, I just have that feeling. Maybe I'm reading too far into it but all of what Jed said seems to point in Mike Shanahan's direction. He also seems to be the favorite so far on the zone.

And he has Baalke and Parcells connections. Would love this hire, think he is going to be a fantastic Head Coach if he has a good GM who can provide him with the talent required.

Why do you want Shanahan?

Ask Steve young why he wants shannahan... All the former 49er greats want young as well

Who do you think he might bring on as offensive coaches?

Please let it be G.Kubiak with Fangio still be the DC. That's almost 50 years of NFL experience put together. Wishful thinking tho..

He may have inserted the name young instead of Shanahan but it doesn't take a genius to figure out what he meant.

Like ive said Young also thought Marc Trestman would be a great head coach for the Chicago Bears.

No thank you. Was I the only one who watched the game yesterday? His defense cannot tackle at all. That should be the first thing taught
