Nobody even knows if Manning WILL come back let alone, if the Broncos want to pay him $19M. They are done and at best, absolute best, have one more year just to compete...with little chance of winning a Superbowl.

He probably feels comfortable in Denver, knows the current suits, and knows now expectations are diminished after they went all in and failed. He doesn't have to move, doesn't have to get to know a new crew, players, QB that was drafted by our former coach. I would say if he is offered the Denver position he's going to take it.

Then again, maybe he wants to step into a "retool" situation where the expectations are already high and it's Super Bowl or bust every year, and he can take on a project QB that makes really cool instagram videos.

Basically a local radio host in Denver reported that Gase has signed with the 49ers, PFT acknowledged the report but has said it's not agreed yet and still could happen?
