Is more than that, is just a much more stable job especially if Manning retires which could mean they may well enter into rebuild mode. If that was the situation, the expectations would be far lower.
The 9ers' job is exactly the opposite. Baalke said this is a reload not a rebuild. Jed York said is Super Bowl or bust. Fans are pis*ed that York fired Harbaugh. Let's face it, the expectations are sky high. Can you imagine what will happen if we miss the playoffs again next year ? I think the Harbaugh supporters would explode !!
I am glad Harbaugh was let go, we need a coach that can, you know...coach. He failed to develop any of our offensive players, was unable to correct his play clock management issues after four years, was consistently outcoached, and looked like a complete ass with his tantrums on the sidelines, which is likely why so many crucial calls went against us. That's not even mentioning his letting players become undisciplined on and off the field without facing any repercussions. We do need a teacher, someone that can develop offensive players, who can adjust when what they're doing isn't working, not blame player execution, which is his responsibility anyway, and that is not James Joseph Harbaugh.
He's gone, man up and get over it.
