Disagree completely. If you go to the Buffalo Bills website, you'll see quite a few fans excited about Roman's style and direction. We lived through it, so we know what Roman really brings to the table.

I'd take that survey seriously, just like I would expect Bills fans to take any survey we had regarding Roman's ineptitude seriously

I think that the Bills remember Roman as the head coach of a team that went to three straight NFCC. The fans remember the last time we played them, when a Roman coached Alex Smith hung 40 + on them.

Could use the same analogy with us regarding Gase.

You absolutely could. Fans remember getting embarrassed by teams, and I'm sure that stuck out to them. But the Bills fans could learn a lot about Roman from us, just as we could about Gase from the Broncs fans. It's not always objective but I've watched every Niners game and very few Broncos games.

We probably go offense heavy this offseason to get some guys that fit the system.

The last 2 are BIG cons

Why would Gore go to another team? He has stated he wants to end his career here. Pretty sure it's up to Baalke not the HC if he stays.

Why would the defense be worse? There are two capable candidates under Vic in Tomsula/Donatell that knows how to run that defense.

You'd think Vic would want to win a SB, be the highest paid DC, have total control of the defense, and already have a top 5 D...where else is gonna find that

yeah gonna be Indy vs Dallas

WHOA! WHOA!

MY DUDE HAS JOINED THE FRACAS!

OH s**t!

Frank Gore going to Indy, Crabs to Dallas

gonna be a fun off season my friend

I think Crabs is all but gone (Houston? I know he loves the "Big D" , but I don't know if they will have the room after resigning Dez), Frank and Indy? Maybe. It all depends on who ends up being the coach.

Other than not being a head coach before, can we list the pros and cons of this dude, Gase?

Pros:
  • Super detailed oriented above and beyond mentality

Cons:

untested, no head coaching experience, unsure if can he command a locker room

Pros:
  • Is said to work great with other minds and is flexible.
  • Well respected once people see him work

Pros:
  • Will stay on his side of the ball!!! That definitely works with this team!

Pros:
  • Said to be one of the smartest offensive minds in football
  • Managed to navigate between Elway and Fox with no negative results to his reputation
  • Handled Manning's ego

Cons:
  • Couldn't get Manning to look good against SEA in the SB.
  • 1 SB loss as an OC

Pros:
  • Did earn Manning's respect to possibly consider Gase's plays
Pros:
  • Won Tebow a playoff game. I think Gase got the credit for that...for being able to put Tebow in his stengths.

Mariucci: Gase 'smart enough' to develop Kap, 49ers offense

"I appreciate when guys work their way up from the ground floor," Mariucci said. "When a guy goes from playing into an important position, it's different. I appreciate someone like Adam who works his way up from nothing and learns every step of the way."

Gase's main task with the 49ers would be to develop Colin Kaepernick as a passer and get the offense functioning at a high level.

"He would need to improve offensive production," Mariucci said, "and I know he's smart enough to know the personnel of the Niners to get that done. They have a great offensive line and a great running game. There's a solid foundation. He'll continue that, and develop the passing aspect of it."

Plus: He has exposure to the 3 main systems....he was in Detroit with mooch (WCO), he was with Martz for a couple of stints (Coreyll digit-system) and what he has been doing in Denver is consider the Erhardt-Perkins system (think Parcells & Belichicks perferred attack). Plus, he adapted to Tebow's game...I'm sure he'll even run some RO here with CK.

Assuming that Gase will install a completely new system, I would not consinder us as a SB-contender next season.

If the new system get more points than the old one, we would be.

A new system would mean new terminology, new schemes, and possibly the necessary players to run Gase's system. Kaep just got comfortable with the other system plus he's dealing with common sense plays and accuracy issues.

What a joke.

Gase resume

offensive ass. for the Lions
QB coach / ass. for Lions, 49ers and Denver
OC the last two years for Peyton

I doubt Gase knows if he can lead a locker room

If the defense and defensive staff remain in tact I think we could be.

This team is definitely a super bowl contender next season

As for the defense. We get Aldon for a whole year (Please), WIll, Bowman, Brock, Dorsey, and WIlliams back. Ward should be better. Borland and Lynch should be better. Tank and Dial should be better. Draft and Sign some D Line and CB depth.

Built them up quickly in Jacksonville but then fell part over the last 4. Not sure i would want Del Rio.

the offense just has to be in The top 15. The D will probably not be elite if Fargo leaves but if it can remain top 10 there is a chance for the super bowl.

Maybe Gase entices Frank and Crabs to come back, resign at friendly deals. Crabs could have a better season under Gase.

Lol, lets be serious, they know next to nothing about Gase. I trust the judgment of Baalke far more than some some random talking head.
