Was Kubiak the OC or the QB coach when Elway was the QB?

1000% agree.
Goodbye Fangio. So the front office is in upgrade the offense at all costs. The defense is what made the 49ers competitive and that was in large part due to Vic Fangio. Alot of the defensive players were here before Fangio and didn't excel until he arrived to spare me the defense will be good no matter what bs. We just robbed Peter to pay Paul imo if Gase is hired and Vic is allowed to leave. Here's to bringing back the big nickel.

He's been a DC for 2 seasons if you dont count that abortion of an interim stint in Philly. Very good coach but they are really laying it on thick over here on the radio.

As much as the Bay Area media loves to tear their sports figures down, the media here lionizes them.

Great thing about Bowles that can't be said about Quinn, that was his defense. Who knows with Carrol there, how much is actually Quinn. Fox is a defensive coach, offense was Gase/Manning.

Assuming that Gase will install a completely new system, I would not consinder us as a SB-contender next season.

If the new system get more points than the old one, we would be.

A new system would mean new terminology, new schemes, and possibly the necessary players to run Gase's system. Kaep just got comfortable with the other system plus he's dealing with common sense plays and accuracy issues.

Kap looked far from comfortable this year...
Eric Branch ‏@Eric_Branch Spoke directly with #49ers DC Vic Fangio. Summary: He was noncommittal about his plans if 49ers hired Adam Gase.

It's fake. It says "sorry sports fans this page has been moved.

Not sure where these 'salary cap hell' posts are coming from. The two sites I use for salary cap stuff say that Denver is $20-30 million under the cap for next season.

Somewhat correct... they sit at exactly 22 mil under cap right now. But their list of free Agents they need to resign or replace is lengthy and expensive. The Thomas's alone eat up almost all of that and they still need to fill out the rest of the roster. Now if you minus Peyton it gets better for them in money....but so much worse on the field and they wont be in a position to draft a high end QB prospect to fill that void...they are stuck with Oswieller and either a bad Vet or project Rookie.

So he would likely have a discussion with any new HC before making any decision over whether to quit? I would hope so. Didn't really think he was as rash as some suggested.

We have an extremely talented d that can probably run any system. We'll be ok.

Kubiak was his roommate, backup QB and later his offensive coordinator.

Which means he at least is keeping an open mind.
