Rt@49ers_Source The 49ers will name Broncos OC Adam Gase thier new Coach. Which means DC Vic Fangio could leave and become AZ's new DC.
Simply put, Fangio would get the most out of the AZ guys. He is a good coach.

As good as vic is, no one coodinator makes or breaks an organization. Also, a GM can't make decisions on the likely hood losing a coodinator. If the coodinator was that important your would make him HC. It's clear niners don't see vic as a HC (NFL seems to agree with this as well).

Mike Klis @MikeKlis
Everybody says Adam Gase will be next 49ers coach, but don't count him out here. He met this morning with John Elway to discuss Broncos HC.

Gase has been ahead for some time now.

Don't want Gase, unless Vic stays. If Vic stays I might be okay with it. If Vic leaves we are f**ked for years.
not true in my opinion, one coach does not make a team. we have several very good defensive guys including our secondary coach, who could step right in with our good players and we will continue along there. the possible departure of fangio does not doom our team for years,, that is just comical in my opinion

If you make a head coaching decision largely based on what a certain assistant coach thinks of it, you're already a terrible GM.

Right, what are the 49ers going to do without a guy who was incredibly mediocre prior to coming the 49ers. I like Fangio, I think he's pretty good, but I also think the talent on this team as well as the offensive philosophy has helped him out quite a bit.
Prior to the 49ers, Fangio was known for defenses that got worse every single year, I hope he stays but if he has a bug up his butt, he can hit bricks.

"Adam is a lot like me in that he's always thinking of how we can do something better or different – or both," Manning told the New York Times. "And he has an almost photographic memory. He can recall a defensive scheme we say from eight games back and remember our exact formation and the play called."
Music to our ears!
Everything sounds good in the beginning, we shall see if he is the chosen one.
Truth. Many though Harbaugh was "the one" too. So we'll see. A lot can happen in 4 years.
