Everyone is convinced that Gase made Peyton (and not the other way around), and therefore Gase being the offensive genius that he is will get Kaep to function like Peyton, except on steroids bc Kaep has a bigger arm and is more mobile. Clearly, when the Broncos do great, its all Gase and his brilliant playcalling. When they get beat down or ousted from the playoffs, its all Manning and his noodle arm.

In that respect, why even give guys like Shanahan another thought. Who wants a guy that helped develop Young and that monster 94 SF offense. The guy that won multiple SBs with an aging Elway. The guy that made no-name RBs household names by back to back to back x infinity 1000 yard rushing seasons bc of his zone blocking scheme ? We don't need that has-been. The guy that Peyton Manning will credit for his HOF career deserves to be our HC.
