Chudzinski is currently serving in a special assistant role with the Colts after being fired by the Browns as a first-year coach. His aggressive, vertical pass scheme could be a good fit for Colin Kaepernick. Weis was unemployed this past season and has had limited success since leaving the Patriots in 2004.

Not totally surprising with the possible exception of Rathman. If the 49ers didn't want Harbaugh around, I always had a hard time believing they wanted to keep the assistant coaches he brought with him around, which is why I doubted that Fangio would end up as the successor to Harbaugh. For better or worse (and probably the latter), this is an anti-Harbaugh purge of the organization.

I would have thought that Rathman might stay since he pre-dated Harbaugh, his ties to the organization and the RBs have generally developed and played well behind Gore. Solari would have been a possibility to stay too, but the OL struggled so much this year that it seemed, despite his reputation, that he would be let go as well.
The Front Office knows that is not a long term hire...So they planned Harbaugh's exit since the beginning of the season..and this was their plan?

Raiders cleaning house too. Allowing their coaches to seek other jobs. Del Rio wants his own people.

This doesn't seem very well planned. I think we need real credentials for OC, though, right?

Ok maybe the DC part makes sense if Tomsula has schemes of his own to run.

I'm sure he does, but that's not what I'm concerned about. I'm greatly concerned for our offense next year. We need the Vic Fangio version of OC. Stud, experienced OC who has full autonomy over the offense.

Who cares. His opinion has been, and continues to be, irrelevant.

and this right here is my biggest issue/fear about the hire.
