Yes, this whole coaching search was a SHAM....They did want Tomulsa all along not because he is the best candidate...because was the cheapest solution.

You guys are aware that we had one of the most expensive coaching staffs in the league right?

No? Don't care?

I figured as much.....

Head coach salary is nothing compared to the whole operation.

Raiders cleaning house too. Allowing their coaches to seek other jobs. Del Rio wants his own people.

This doesn't seem very well planned. I think we need real credentials for OC, though, right?

Ok maybe the DC part makes sense if Tomsula has schemes of his own to run.

I'm sure he does, but that's not what I'm concerned about. I'm greatly concerned for our offense next year. We need the Vic Fangio version of OC. Stud, experienced OC who has full autonomy over the offense.

and this right here is my biggest issue/fear about the hire.

Mine as well. Good luck finding that OC on the market. On top of that, we're losing Fangio. What a clusterf**k.
Tomsula firing everybody

doesn't matter.
expense shouldn't be a factor. talent and production should. the defense should have stayed how it was and we fix the offense because that side wasn't doing its job

easiest thing in the world to do
i don't understand how this is real life. how can a person actually do this

The sinic in me says thats only because they wanted to secure the new stadium. Now that they have it, the Niners are gonna go back to being a dumpster fire. I sure hope I'm wrong and would be happy to eat my words next year.

What credibility or track record do the Yorks have outside of the Harbaugh hire? None. Now they hire Tomsula. A guy that is totally unproven and has no OC/DC experience. Sure we'll win a Superbowl with that. What a &%^*(*&# bunch of crock.

Jed York praises Jim Tomsula's "great class and integrity"
This feels like a typical corporate cost cutting operation that some genius bean counter came up with.

"According to my data, we can can fire our most talented managers, bring in some cheaper options and get the same results guaranteed!"

That the whole staff is gone blows my mind!!! Its telling that a guy like Rathman is expected to leave in spite of being on the staff with Tomsula for the longest time, that speaks volumes.

Posting it again because anyone having a Nutty right now should watch this vid...5:35 point of the video...comments from Justin Smith on why Tomsula was the interim coach in 2011.

Entire vid is pretty damn good BTW...comments from Harbaugh as well.
