"According to my data, we can can fire our most talented managers, bring in some cheaper options and get the same results guaranteed!"

what ? lol

did you not read the rest of it?

Phoenix is right, this is all about saving money, cheap mofos! They probably singed Tomsula for 4 years for the price of one Shanahan or Gase year.

Yeah, back to being cheap Yorks

...and that's why I think the hire at OC in particular is CRUCIAL.

And then when that OC up and leaves, itll be just as crucial.

Welcome to 2005-2010 redux.

It was a problem for the 49ers in the past, but look at the 4 HCs remaining right now. A defensive HC can succeed.

Sure a defensive HC can succeed but our defense is already good and our offense sucks balls, so this hire doesn't make sense especially if trestmen is the target at OC.

Posting it again because anyone having a Nutty right now should watch this vid...5:35 point of the video...comments from Justin Smith on why Tomsula was the interim coach in 2011.

Entire vid is pretty damn good BTW...comments from Harbaugh as well.

Tomsula has a very strong personality and is all class. I know he's not Singletary. Tomsula has the coaching pedigree, and he's not going to mentally crumble under the pressures of the job like Sing did.

Still, what can he do to improve the offense, or who can he hire to improve the offense? That is ultimately what will determine his success imo, because that is what's holding the team back.

that's it. he needs to keep the defense the way it is.
and turn this offense over to someone who will do right by it.

I like Trestman as OC
Anybody know about Tarver

Bottom five D all three years he was DC.

Raiders

True. But all three years they flat out sucked.

We can't do better? No one else would hire this guy for a DC job.

Plus, isn't he a 4-3 guy?

I said help me...NOT KILL ME
Why get rid of Rathman? Tomsula call or the rathman don't want to work with Jimmy T? I think Rathman is one hell of a RB coach and needs to stay.

Does Tarver run a 4-3 defense. Someone mentioned that he does.

#49ers WR Anquan Boldin: "I don't think coach Tomsula will be as tough as coach Harbaugh was."

It's pretty clear none of the coaches that matter respect the hire.
