anybody think the issue of Kaps development was a problem with Gase? Not throwing any blame out but if asked and said we will need to go in a different direction.....?

Why get rid of Rathman? Tomsula call or the rathman don't want to work with Jimmy T? I think Rathman is one hell of a RB coach and needs to stay.

He has an option to leave and I am sure he wants out

#49ers WR Anquan Boldin: "I don't think coach Tomsula will be as tough as coach Harbaugh was."

Harbaugh was a players coach...how does being less tough on them help a team that lacked discipline?

From the players response about the hire, I don't think Harbaugh was a players coach. For crying out loud even LMJ likes the hire lol

It's pretty clear none of the coaches that matter respect the hire.

It REALLY worries me that guys like Rathman and Solari who have worked forever with Tomsula are like "f**k this, we're out."

Tough to make Jim Harbaugh into a sympathetic character, but 49ers have done it. The "class & integrity" line from York totally unnecessary

York has been moronic in his interviews, constantly sticking his foot in his mouth. I don't think he meant Harbaugh lacked class & integrity, but he has to know that's how the media will perceive it.

I am sure presser tomorrow will be another puke fest

Probably because they knew he was politicking for the job DURING THE SEASON.

Right. There is complete uncertainty going forward with the offensive staff. He probably feels like joining Roman in Buffalo is the best fit.

No. I think they had their mind set on Tomsula all along.

Me: coach, let me know when practice starts, I'm there ASAP!
Tomsula: I love you Vernon
Me: thx Coach, I love you too

Marvin, you're a guy whose opinion I respect, I'm one of those fans going "Nutty" right now. Talk me down, explain why I'm wrong. And also, what OC would you recommend? Rob Chudzinski, Trestman, Kyle Shanahan.?

I'd be surprised. He's a QB guy - how would he know less about QB development than Tomsula?
York's statement: "After conducting a thorough coaching search, and meeting with a number of outstanding candidates, Jim Tomsula clearly is the right man to lead this team.

"Jim is a great teacher and a tremendous mentor who conducts himself with great class and integrity."

Baalke statement: "Our organization is excited to have Jim Tomsula leading this football team. We have had the privilege of working alongside Jim for the past eight seasons.

"He is a proven leader, teacher and mentor, and we look forward to seeing him apply his craft and vision to our team."
