It's pretty clear none of the coaches that matter respect the hire.

It REALLY worries me that guys like Rathman and Solari who have worked forever with Tomsula are like "f**k this, we're out."

Yeah, it's quite the endorsement. An in-house hire is supposed to mean little turnover, and so far, it's anything but that. If Tomsula can't keep the same personnel, then what does he offer other than being a guy that doesn't rub shoulders with management? Also with no Rathman that probably means Gore is gone too.

have any coaches actually left yet?
Well the at least I'm hoping Kap won't be playing like a damn robot anymore now that he's free to be himself, I'm not saying he wasn't free to be himself with Harb but it just seems like he's afraid to play his type of game.
Shut this thread down.
Was Jim Tomsula's DLine, the job he is responsible for currently, the best in the league or close to it?
Is this the great teacher the 49ers have been looking for?
Is he the great coach that will get Kaep in order?

Will he fix...please. All this tells me is that there was only one plan: get rid of Harbaugh.
This org is now run by two idiots - Jed and Baalke.
Pride/ego comes before a fall.

anybody think the issue of Kaps development was a problem with Gase? Not throwing any blame out but if asked and said we will need to go in a different direction.....?

lmao
Where's all this talking about that the whole staff is leaving? I know fangio but where's all this rathman and everyone else wants out coming from?

If you had to complement a coach for doing more with less it would be Donatel. He had rotating FAs and second tier guys year after year and yet put out a great product...but he might not be HC material.

Kap is a project and one that not every OC will want to deal with. He may want a traditional drop back passer, Kap is not that right now...probably wont be one next year either.

York's statement: "After conducting a thorough BLUDGEON search, and meeting with a BLUDGEON of outstanding candidates, Jim Tomsula clearly is the right man to BLUDGEON this team.

"Jim is a great teacher and a tremendous mentor who conducts himself with great BLUDGEON and BLUDGEON."

Baalke statement: "Our organization is excited to have Jim Tomsula BLUDGEON this football team. We have had the privilege of working alongside Jim for the past eight seasons.

"He is a proven leader, teacher and BLUDGEON, and we look forward to seeing him BLUDGEON his craft and vision to our team."

Fixed.

#49ers WR Anquan Boldin: "I don't think coach Tomsula will be as tough as coach Harbaugh was."

Harbaugh was a players coach...how does being less tough on them help a team that lacked discipline?

From the players response about the hire, I don't think Harbaugh was a players coach. For crying out loud even LMJ likes the hire lol

From what i've learned, the boss who is everybody's pall is less productive then the guy who is tough on everyone. From a production standpoint,

Easier said than done. So far, this all sounds like a calmer more charming version of Singletary.

Why didn't Jed hire Tomsula right after he fired Singletary, at the very least we wouldn't have had so high expectations.
