yeah except all signs point to Tomsula actually being able to coach.

the Singletary 2.0 comparison is getting old. it's lazy and ignorant.

He's not anything like Singletary. That I agree 100% with. But he has to hit the OC hire out of the park, in addition to the rest of his staff.

I think chudinzki would be a great oc for Kap!! Look what he did for Cam his rookie year. Trestman would be decent to.

That's the point...Harbaugh was a player's coach. Tomsula is even more of a player's coach. Fangio was a no nonsense coach. Hmm...did they go in the right direction? I guess time will tell.
Well if Tomsula has the balls to say this isnt working, we need a different system....its better than Harbs.

True...but will he blame the OC and fire him each year for several years? LOL! This hire just seems so much a young owner liking someone into a job, rather than making a football/business decision.

if the offense isn't working what makes more sense? lol

anybody think the issue of Kaps development was a problem with Gase? Not throwing any blame out but if asked and said we will need to go in a different direction.....?

lmao

Kap is a project and one that not every OC will want to deal with. He may want a traditional drop back passer, Kap is not that right now...probably wont be one next year either.

Who could a new coach possibly bring in that's better than Kaepernick? If anything Kaep has a skill set that's completely unique, has shown he can get you to and win in the playoffs and is a hard worker that's coach able.
don't bite man he just wanted to toss some stuff out there.

Maybe we could trade for Nick Foles!

I bet Chip would love to have Kaep.

Dont know yet. But all of the D guys had to see the failure on O every week. If every D coach managed to put backups in and keep a top rated D....they know how to do something with nothing.

Boone on Solari returning: That's tricky. He was kind of, "let's see what happens" - could see him going to Buffalo

I expect him to go with Rathman to Buffalo.

Wait Rathman is going to Buffalo???

No I'm good now, someone already kicked me in the nuts to calm me down.

Me: coach, let me know when practice starts, I'm there ASAP!
Tomsula: I love you Vernon
Me: thx Coach, I love you too

This to me is a head scratcher. I'm sure Vernon was injured much of last year but it sure seemed like he was mentally checked out. Was his beef with Harbaugh?

Baalke statement: "Our organization is excited to have Jim Tomsula leading this football team. We have had the privilege of working alongside Jim for the past eight seasons.

"He is a proven leader, teacher and mentor, and we look forward to seeing him apply his craft and vision to our team."

and we look forward to seeing him lead our team to 6-10 with class and integrity.....

Nobody this year. But if Kap doesn't look better next year.....any new HC would be looking for an early round QB. Its not hate, its the truth.

I'd be down for Chud. Like you said, did some good things in Carolina, and he's a long time TE coach. Could get Vernon and Vance on track.
