I will say this: Matt Maiocco is by far the best source for Niner insider info. Proven right throughout this entire process, kept objectivity, and didn't go into unprofessional territory like Lowell or Kawakami.

Barrows is the best writer when it comes to covering the news IMO, but Maiocco has the more reliable insider angles.

Cam Inmann was the only one to Nail the hire though. Called it at the beginning of the search. Said it would be a long search, three weeks or so, but ultimately they would go with Tomsula.

True. Cam is definitely a good one, too.
I think the Tomsula hire does nothing but help bring Gore back and talk Justin into one more year.

Nice assessment.

Not a big fan of Maiocco on TV. Needs to stick with writing.

Nothing official, but let's be honest. The national media, as much as we hate them, has been on point about our team for well over a year. Where there is smoke, there is fire, and chances are very strong we're about to undergo a significant overhaul to the entire staff.

Yea which will be disappointing. Especially with a guy like rathman who I have a lot of respect for looking to go. (I think gore retires now) We didn't need a complete overhaul of the staff just a few adjustments on the offensive side.
Then again I don't get paid lots of money to make these decisions, so I'll wait and see. But this stinks of jed wanting someone he thinks he can control. Jerry style.

It's interesting that all the players that have talked about the move so far apart from boldin, are guys that either held out (Boone) , got moved (Lmt) or didn't care last year (vernon )
Gonna be interesting to see what veteran guys like gore willis say. Even the boldin statement doesn't endorse tomsula.

Yup. We don't know who's going where yet, but it's safe to assume most of the offensive staff should leave or get canned. I have respect for Rathman and wish he would stay. Looks like Fangio is leaving for sure, hopefully we at least retain a few defensive coaches like Donatell and Leavitt.

York's statement: "After conducting a thorough coaching search, and meeting with a number of outstanding candidates, Jim Tomsula clearly is the right man to lead this team.

"Jim is a great teacher and a tremendous mentor who conducts himself with great class and integrity."

Baalke statement: "Our organization is excited to have Jim Tomsula leading this football team. We have had the privilege of working alongside Jim for the past eight seasons.

"He is a proven leader, teacher and mentor, and we look forward to seeing him apply his craft and vision to our team."

and we look forward to seeing him lead our team to 6-10 with class and integrity.....

You're such a drama queen.

Go ahead, be a good little faithful.....the Yorks love fans like you. No accountability required. Whooooo!!!

Kap is a project and one that not every OC will want to deal with. He may want a traditional drop back passer, Kap is not that right now...probably wont be one next year either.

Who could a new coach possibly bring in that's better than Kaepernick? If anything Kaep has a skill set that's completely unique, has shown he can get you to and win in the playoffs and is a hard worker that's coach able.

Maybe we could trade for Nick Foles!

I bet Chip would love to have Kaep.

I hate his offense but could you imagine the numbers Kaep would put up in that offense!
Instead of the khakis, were gonna have the porn stache im digging it

I hate Kelly' offense too. Much of the stats are fluff when you're not controlling TOP. They simply play too fast.

Stoney actually seems pretty middle-of-the-road over the years, or am I missing something?

no doubt, but for whatever he follows my posts and loves to comment on them even if 90 percent of the board is saying the same thing. Maybe he's just crushing?

Nobody this year. But if Kap doesn't look better next year.....any new HC would be looking for an early round QB. Its not hate, its the truth.

I'm not saying you're hating, I'm saying a new HC wouldn't be trying to replace Kaep day 1.

Tomsula I think can be a very good head guy, but it really boils down now to who the coordinators are.

Agreed. Only thing I liked about gase was the potential putin/gaze photshops
At least the Warriors are still #1. We needed a Steve Kerr, instead we got Carlesimo, FAAAAAAAAK!
