Can someone clear up what happened with Gase? I went to work with Jed saying Gase was our guy on a radio interview to getting off work 10 hours later and Jimbos our guy.

Wth happened??

Yup. We don't know who's going where yet, but it's safe to assume most of the offensive staff should leave or get canned. I have respect for Rathman and wish he would stay. Looks like Fangio is leaving for sure, hopefully we at least retain a few defensive coaches like Donatell and Leavitt.

If fangio leaves wouldn't be surprised to see Donatell promoted.

lmao

Kap is a project and one that not every OC will want to deal with. He may want a traditional drop back passer, Kap is not that right now...probably wont be one next year either.

Who could a new coach possibly bring in that's better than Kaepernick? If anything Kaep has a skill set that's completely unique, can make ALL the throws, has shown he can get you to and win in the playoffs and is a hard worker that's coach able.
Nobody this year. But if Kap doesn't look better next year.....any new HC would be looking for an early round QB. Its not hate, its the truth.

I'm not saying you're hating, I'm saying a new HC wouldn't be trying to replace Kaep day 1.
maybe if were talking about Alex Smith..then the new HC might

Really, because it seems to be driving away pretty much every other coach currently on the staff. With guys like Rathman, Solari, Fangio and Donatell(if not made DC) expected to be gone, good luck with a whole new staff.

I agree with that. But every new HC will look to bring in their own guy if the old guy isn't living up to "expectations". Hell look at Alex, he was doing pretty good and got replaced. I think the safest coach for Kap is an internal guy that knows him and respects him. The big ? that you hinted at was who will be the OC and QB coach....those will be key hires.

You're such a drama queen.

Go ahead, be a good little faithful.....the Yorks love fans like you. No accountability required. Whooooo!!!

Stoney actually seems pretty middle-of-the-road over the years, or am I missing something?

no doubt, but for whatever he follows my posts and loves to comment on them even if 90 percent of the board is saying the same thing. Maybe he's just crushing?
So your unfaithful and have another team ?

Really? I'm faithful to my Niners winning, not whatever BS slogan the Yorks marketing team wants to shove down my throat.....but if thats your definition of faithful, have at it.

Phoenix, I understand he wasn't your choice, wasn't my first either, but take a deep breath. You aren't posting clear headed at this point. Wait and see. Thats all that any of us can do.

I agree. If we get Weiss I'll be pissed chudzinski is the better hire based on our personnel and what he likes to run.

Coming from LMJ, that's actually pretty high praise. Sometimes former players are butthurt (see: Brandon Jacobs) and develop cynical, schadenfreudic views towards their old teams.

It just shows that players in all positions due truely love Tomsula. Thats not to say that means he will be a successful head coach, just that he is respected highly in the locker room.

I'm a ND fan and will say this, Weiss is horrible. Clock management and game awareness he is void of.
