Jesus Christ it's like you people want to be upset. "Oh no! The fo is helping him get assistant coaches, time to give up and cry some more!" give the guy a chance, what happened to faithful?

that only applies if things go their way

would you guys be happy if we actually won with tomsula?

They make me wonder. It seems half of the "fans" enjoy criticizing more than cheering.
The media is gonna eat York and Balke alive at the press conference just like Seattle ate turkey at Levi's..

I am guessing the "help" is not hey Jim can you keep Ratham. Its hey Jim this will be who your offensive coordinator will be.

No actual evidence to suggest this whatsoever. Just prejudice towards JT and hate bias towards FO.

Everyone is acting like tomsula is a puppet right now.

He's basically already the most disrespected HC in the NFL. It's like everyone assumes he somehow walked off the street like a bum and got hired for being able to pee in the urinal without splashing.

So we literally just got rid of all of harbaughs guys, and kept tomsula and rathman (who were here before)

Yup. Management's intentions are pretty clear. They want to completely cleanse themselves of anything having to do with Harbaugh, much in the same way the Dorks tried to cleanse themselves of anything to do with Walsh. All coming full circle. Some people don't know how to handle and sustain success.

Wait, what?

Really don't care about that. As long as Jimmy T sounds like he has a plan I'm ok with his hiring.
One good thing is that shareholders are 100% likely to sell their season tickets now, so real fans can either but them up, or find affordable means to see games.
I hope Frank signs with a team that will give him a shot at a ring, he's got maybe 2-3 years left and the Niners won't be sniffing the Super Bowl anytime soon...but that's probably just me being a paranoid bandwaggoner

good bye to donatell, fangio....

Dang, Donatell was a stud. I just hope our CBs dont regress. Even our scrub back ups played well. This is probably not good.

Im not as worried about Fangio. We've always had a stellar defense. There are plenty of vets.

Wait, what?

After Mariucci's firing, we completely overhauled the philosophy of the team. Stopped running the WCO offense for the first time in 24 years so we could hire that loser Erickson. Then when they had the chance to right that wrong, they hire Nolan, and then Singletary. Then they luck out with Harbaugh, who was already coaching in the area and had an interest in making an easy transition to the NFL, and they managed to f**k that up too.

HARBAUGH got assistance from the SF FO in 2011. That's why Rathman and Tomsula were retained. Did people say the FO babied JH and didn't trust him to hire those coaching positions?

Off the ledge, everybody. Sheesh.

When is the last time you saw it reported that a head coach was getting "assistance" from the front office in picking his staff.

Its a given that every coach will work with the front office to some degree but that the decision is ultimately their own. That's never something that needs to be reported and that it is, makes me wonder to exactly what extent the front office's involvement amounts to.

I would have this same reaction regardless of who the candidate it was. The front office is "assisting".....not sure how that can be considered a good thing when it is publicly announced, that's the equivalent of saying the head coach will be held by the hand pretty much.

Who publicly announced it? A tweet from a random person is considered a public announcement these days? The media is trying to portray Tomsula as Lennie Small. That the narrative they want, that's the narrative they are running with.
Is Tomsula gonna promise a WCO?
