Yup. Management's intentions are pretty clear. They want to completely cleanse themselves of anything having to do with Harbaugh, much in the same way the Dorks tried to cleanse themselves of anything to do with Walsh. All coming full circle. Some people don't know how to handle and sustain success.

HARBAUGH got assistance from the SF FO in 2011. That's why Rathman and Tomsula were retained. Did people say the FO babied JH and didn't trust him to hire those coaching positions?

When is the last time you saw it reported that a head coach was getting "assistance" from the front office in picking his staff.
Its a given that every coach will work with the front office to some degree but that the decision is ultimately their own. That's never something that needs to be reported and that it is, makes me wonder to exactly what extent the front office's involvement amounts to.
I would have this same reaction regardless of who the candidate it was. The front office is "assisting".....not sure how that can be considered a good thing when it is publicly announced, that's the equivalent of saying the head coach will be held by the hand pretty much.
