Matt Maiocco @MaioccoCSN
Just spoke to member of #49ers coaching staff who said the assistants are in the dark about the team's plans. They haven't heard a thing.

Why would shareholders sell their season tickets?? They don't care about the product on the field. They bought those seats because its a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon or to seal a business deal or as a perk to give away to the employees who work for whatever corporation it is that they run.

I would call three straight NFCC over the hump. When was our last NFCC before he got here?

Im not as worried about Fangio. We've always had a stellar defense. There are plenty of vets.
We see this when a new coach comes in, brings his staff and starts anew but, JT was already here. This is a lot of voids to fill...
The plan all along had to be massive house cleaning.

A position coach his entire career with no NFL head coaching experience.

Yup. Management's intentions are pretty clear. They want to completely cleanse themselves of anything having to do with Harbaugh, much in the same way the Dorks tried to cleanse themselves of anything to do with Walsh. All coming full circle. Some people don't know how to handle and sustain success.
Wait, what?
After Mariucci's firing, we completely overhauled the philosophy of the team. Stopped running the WCO offense for the first time in 24 years so we could hire that loser Erickson. Then when they had the chance to right that wrong, they hire Nolan, and then Singletary. Then they luck out with Harbaugh, who was already coaching in the area and had an interest in making an easy transition to the NFL, and they managed to f**k that up too.
Boom. Everything you said.
There is far more reason to doubt then to believe. I honestly believe they got lucky with Harbaugh. Its the only smart thing the Yorks have done. Period. Its exactly as you said.

The players all wanted Singletary too. That worked out well. There's still a chance we luck out with an offensive coordinator coming out of nowhere that puts this team over the....... wait then there's still the defense if Fangio leaves. This is not looking good ladies and gents. Still hopeful just feels like I've seen this movie already

Coaches don't know their status, because York and Baalke dont't want leaks before press conference that are not spread by them.

Walsh was kept on as a special consultant with the team long after he left as the GM in 01. They knew how important he was to this franchise and kept him as close as they could for as long as he could until he got sick.

I would. Don't put me in the boat with those wanting this team to lose just to prove a point. I'm never about that b******t.
I'm just very pessimistic at this point in time. This hire screams "Jed York" at the loudest possible volume. Now if they put together a superior staff around Tomsula and by superior, I mean a staff up and around the caliber of the other top teams in the NFL, then I'll certainly step down from the ledge and be a lot more open minded about this.
