Interesting... Meeting with Baalke and not Tomsula....

Matt Maiocco ‏@MaioccoCSN
Just spoke to #49ers OL coach Mike Solari. He said GM Trent Baalke called him. He will meet with Baalke in the morning to see where it goes.

So Tomsula can't even call guys on the staff from last year?. Lol
Yes that's totally what he just said.

These are not even close to being the same coach.

How do you know this?

uhh because Tomsula has been our DLine coach for 7 years and we have had one of if the not the best dline for several years

Uhh. A d line coach teaches techniques not X's and O's. The DC teaches that

Welp, for starters Trent Dilfer just said so on ESPN. Additionally, that is the consistent feedback on him. Moreover, for results, during his tenure his DL gave up the 2nd fewest rushing yards in the NFL.

Basically. Why is Jed calling?
If Fangio leaves (why not!), and then Dan Quinn is hired as the HC for another team...guess what...there is a very good possibility that Fangio would be the new DC for Seattle.
All hypothetical at this stage, but that would be further embarassment to this already messed up owner/GM.

At some point, I'm hoping, the frustration with the 49ers org would end and everyone will just move on...but right now...anyways.

That D-Line is one of the best when Justin Smith is doing his thing. When he is not QBs seem to have all day in the pocket.

And most of the dlineman under Tomsula that have moved on to other teams had career seasons under Tomsula. Whats your point?

Fangio has a great defensive scheme for the 49ers?

Tomsula can't pick his own staff. Blake is going to do it.

Harbaugh sold out the stadium...York's made a s**tload...and how we're doing things on the cheap.

Win with class...uh huh.

Who the f**k is "Blake"? And what has that a*****e done with our GM?

"It's Blake"

"You wanna go to war ba lock ee?!!"
Tomsula told Baalke to change his name to Blake because it sounded cooler, so he did.

FACT!

Spellcheck is hard...Blake, Baalke, what's the difference

The more and more I think about it, I love this hire. I bet our defense and offense both improve somehow. Especially our second half offense.

I'm coming around...just want the offense to get fixed

Tomsula will be fine. OC and DC is pivotal now

Oh wow the D Line plays better when Justin Smith is on his game, wow what a shocker.

Quite a few people thought Singletary did a phenomenal job with the linebackers.
