The way it's going it wouldn't be a shock for us to finish 3-13. I really took 2014 for granted. 8-8 sounds great now......
I know it's somewhat out of context (and unfair) to take a few seconds of video here and there and draw a conclusion, but nearly every time I see Tomsula during a game he just looks bewildered. Of course could well be that he's not, but it's not the best look... and I seem to recall a few people ripping Harbaugh for his on-screen time.

Someone mentioned that we hired coaches that nobody wanted (Cryst, Mangini and Tomsula). That should've been a red flag.
Congrats Jim Tomsula, new head coach. This is the last job you'll ever have at this position. Enjoy it, Invest the money an run to another team as fast as you can.

What's hilarious is that it's a skeleton staff of our old one and people thought it would be different.
Did Patrick and Justin smith quit because Jim harbaugh left?

QB Coach, TE Coach, and DL coach.

Its a bad idea on paper. Then when you actually check out the candidates, it gets worse.

I wonder if this team is just a cash cow for York? What do you think?

Dont forget Davis and Borland

Crabtree said he signed for less than what the niners offered him

Boggles my mind how you need to say things like this! So consistently negative. Lets go over what we know of these things:
  • No frothing from Tomsula's mouth, no delay of games, no players coming in late, good game management
  • Speed is speed...how might that change with more games played?
  • Rotation. Better overall depth at an even level allows rotation. Coaches have emphasised this--you complained Tomsula couldn't say who would start at DB...well? Lot's of guys...depending on who is most likely to be a good matchup. DL...why would you expect this to change?
  • Adjustments? Maybe the coaches will decide..."Well, we won this game so let's not do that again!" Sound reasonable to you?
  • Blitzing and disguising? Fangio was fairly good at blitzing but Mangini has a rep for doing more...and I don't recall disguises under Fangio.

Not cherry picking these, but observing them. If you think differently it would be so nice to hear some specifics rather than your usual...one game means nothing mantra. I expect next January you will be saying, "One year doesn't mean anything...we need to see it over four years. After all...Harbaugh had four years."

Edit: forgot to address your pointing out lots of examples of games going smoothly! You thought this game went smoothly? Really? This was a young team looking earnest but awkward to start the year. They will get better every week as they gain experience. Good grief! Can't believe you said this...even you!

Dtg_9er you were flat out wrong

Again: Borland is now anti-NFL. JH wasn't keeping him around.

Smith was retiring either way. And he loves Tomsula.

Willis wasnt returning no matter what, and was hardly JH's biggest fan.

Davis has said he wants to come back next year. If it was about JH he wouldn't float that idea at all.

So, spin and speculate all you want. Doesn't make that speculation anything other than BS.

Lol you are the one who is speculating, you still haven't provided a link about Willis being anti JH

The offensive coordinator search pretty much went up in flames when Chudzinski returned to the Colts
