What he is trying to say here is...... we just ain't good enough to execute like the rest of the league
Sometimes the plan itself is so bad, the execution doesn't matter.

Definitely agree they need to pass first to beat the stacked boxes. The balance is out of whack so you need to back the defense off.
Drop back pass pro is still a major weakness of this team, though. Hence why we're saying to do it from the shotgun.

Yes, the initial response was a disaster, but Tomsula didn't throw two Pick 6's in the first 10 mins of the game and blow up any chance to counter the Pittsburgh game immediately.
This'll be a fascinating week to watch. Tomsula is a trenches guy, so you know he recognizes how terrible the lines have played. I don't think it's coincidence that Easton was finally active yesterday.
Actually its not when the previous two games are over by half time and giving up 90 points. The only question now is if he lasts the full season or not. I say he lasts the entire season and we tank for a top pick and maybe draft QB Goff and hopefully Jed can make a better decision on the next HC.
I think you both have valid points, but Sus was also straight on with players who essentially quit on Jimmy T. yesterday. I've never seen a team come out so flat and so unprepared. At least they showed some fight against Pittsburgh. But absolutely none against Phoenix.
If Jimmy T. has lost the players and they continue to quit on him like this, his career will be a short one indeed.
I saw Boldin yelling at him in the first quarter.
but...but.....but Susweel, the posters in NT tell me that the players lover playing for Tomsula.
And I mean the players in the media say nice things about Tomsula, so I'm sure he is an amazing coach.
And Bill Walsh went 2-14 in his first season. So we should give Tomsula the benefit of the doubt and completely believe in him for no other reason than he is the 49ers head coach! Just like Mike Nolan, Singletary and Erickson!

This dude is totally a Singletary by the way.
I'm just wondering which game Tomsula pulls his pants down.

At least Singletary had his speeches and a tough guy act that worked for a little while.

Is this thread about me? Or is it about Tomsula? I know this can be confusing sometimes, if only we had thread titles to give us a clue.
