Sorry, but this is just a little too convenient. Other coaches make due. There is ZERO excuse for how unprepared we have been the last two games. That's coaching. Dallas is playing without their top WR (who is also tops in the league) and number one QB, another top tier. Did you watch the way the defense has run around the last two weeks looking lost? Yes, we lost a ton in the offseason, but all I heard about was how DEEP our team was; let's look at the guys who are here....blah blah blah. They have had an offseason and a preseason and if the last two weeks are what that translates to then I'm sorry but you cannot ignore the HC. That is just ridiculous.

DAL has one of the best o-lines in the league.

Never thought I'd say this, but I'm envious of their owner.

He doesn't need to be classy!

Yeah, I was waiting for that...and? Still playing with backups to CORE positions. And the D?...

And we have a bad O line, bad QB play, bad coaching on offense, a HC that probably has no idea what is going on or how to fix an offence.

After Kaps 2nd int Tomsula instructed the OC to run and they did like 16 straight times. Being down 14-0 we run the time. We run on all downs, punt, they score a TD. We get the ball back, run on all downs, punt, they score a TD. We get the ball back we run on almost all downs except 3rd and 20, we punt.

Did Tomsula think that was going to work? Was he not trying to score only down 14? That put us down 28 real quick.

This also had a hand in getting blown out. Let's run the ball and punt, put that defense on the field longer. It didn't work, we gave up 14 more points.

After Kaepernick threw his second interception, the 49ers' next 13 plays were runs –- a streak that included two scrambles. Tomsula said he sent the directive to offensive coordinator Geep Chryst to run the ball during that stretch of the game.

"Let's grab ahold of this and get things calmed down," Tomsula said was his reasoning by sticking with the running game.

And THAT is what wins championships. Remember how awful aikman was until the O-line was built? Even our very own Steve Young had poor stats his final year because he was running for his life on every play.

Yup. O-line is so critical to be a winning football team. Dallas building a great o-line is what won them championships, and recently vaulted them from perennial 8-8 team, to a 12-4 contender. Aikman, Irvin, Smith get all the glory, and rightly so, but the o-line is what made their team downright nasty.

At this point I've started to transition from optimistic to getting upset about what we've been seeing to finding pure comedy in all of this.......like watching a totally garbage movie that's so bad it's good....

Anyone else starting to feel this way?

Holy crap, can't believe this is happening.

+ A system they've been running for years now.

We all want that here. One problem was that the previous system got figured out and the adjustments weren't made. (2014 season). Now there's a new system and the personnel is weaker overall on the OL. Until the latter improves it'll be rough at times. We all just hope it won't be THAT rough, and we hope that changes in personnel are made if it doesn't improve.
Tomsula must be thinking:

"A fool (two fools) offered me a HC job. Let me take it, face the fans and media for 1 year, make an addtl 1-2 million in the new job, step down and get back to being DLine coach".
Not a bad deal at all.

It only took teams 1 week to figure this "new" system out.

That's because the players are struggling to even run the base plays. Can't dial up the more complex plays if the OL blows basic blocking assignments and the QB throws terrible INTs.

LOL. A new system with two offensive lineman that were consistently graded the worst in the NFL. And you've got a guy sitting on the bench in Thomas who consistently graded high in the preseason for his play, and was drafted HIGHLY by us for a reason. Yet he's not playing. Coachingz

We had money for Mathis, we had money to sign other guys, but we saved it. We are in this position because thinks we didn't need to upgrade at guard. Tomsula and CO think it is better to have Boone at Left Guard instead of right Tackle. You get your bookend tackles in Staley and Boone and work from there.
