Again, this isn't new information. We all knew this going into the season. What were people expecting? We all saw how Kap looked completely forced into a pocket pass pro game last year. It's not his strength, and he said they would call playsbto their players' strengths this season.

1+1 stuff here everyone

Jim Tomsula

Just gonna point out this is a joke statement and not anything Tomsula said. Because that happened earlier in this thread and newcomers were deceived.

I've been saying all offseason - past track record is a good indicator of future success. When they first hired Tomsula, the majority of the fan base was up in arms. Over the past few months prior to the start of the season, the team went on a PR campaign and somehow convinced a large swath of our intelligent fan base that Tomsula is the answer. It's become obvious that Tomsula is NOT the answer. No one can honestly say that Tomsula is 1 of the best 32 at this job based on his current or prior track record. Let's be real - which of these football coaches do not belong in the same list - Bill Walsh, Steve Mariucci, George Seifert, Jim Harbaugh, Jim Tomsula.

Those that have been clamoring for Tomsula, Baalke, and Jed, and continue to get their panties in a twist and taking a bunch of veiled personal attacks at other fans and posters for not loving Tomsula are clearly not convinced either - thus the petulant behavior and irrational reaction to any criticism. They're just personally invested in this regime and are fighting hard to not lose face for their ignorance.

But Baalkes daughter called out Roman and Jed tweeted bad things to ruin Harbaugh, they seem like football experts
I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone here who was clamoring for Tomsula. Some of us were/are simply hopeful that things will work out. They very well may not. This week will show a lot, IMO. If they lay another egg I may be right there with many on this board. I definitely want to see personnel/scheme changes this week, and will be frustrated if it doesn't happen.

But even if I call for more extreme changes later this year if things stay unraveled I won't do it with the hyperbolic extremism and name calling of the coaches or players. I also don't think it makes the problems under HaRoman the last two years something that didn't need adjustments, too (remember, the fail in their scheme started in late 2013).

Percentages say JT is gonna fail as a HC, but I don't go by odds, I want to see the product. Last two weeks were terrible product. Now let me see the response. Fold or fight? Adjust or stay stale? Switch out failing personnel or stick with players that didn't deliver for both losses?

Well it certainly makes you wonder what was wrong with our team and continues to be wrong with this team. We got a new coach that's supposedly a master of the X's & O's and an excellent teacher. So either our new coaching staff has been oversold as something they are not, we've always had some issues with the roster, or it's a combination of both.

Perhaps Roman sucked balls here was because we didn't have the offensive talent we somehow convinced ourselves we had. If our talent level on offense wasn't there, that would point to a different area of the organization that was not doing its job.

Sad part is everyone knew it was a bad hire. The fans knew it, alot of us said it, but some fans told us we didn't know what we were talking about. Started listing names of all these leftover coaches like we had an all-star staff. Lol..

The media knew it, and now the whole football world is seeing it. At least with Sing we were competitive.

This was being mentioned everywhere - mostly Jed's way of selling the hire - Tomsula master teacher and X's & O's guy (also implying the former coaching staff was not these things).
