I want to throw up in my mouth. We are talking about a man who worked under Sid Gillman, Paul Brown, Marve Levy, Al Davis. He invented offensive concepts , built programs , single handily changed offenses as we know it today. This man could survive anything an organization throws at him in today's game or of yesteryear. Leave him out of the conversation. By the way, in Walshes bad seasons they were very competitive , especially in his second year. His philosophy is unchallengeable

You are reading way to much into the comment man. It just means that you cant draw conclusions after three games. Lets not be dramatic, and lets not make stuff out to be waaaay more then it actually is. All they are saying is even a great head coach started slow. No one is saying jimmy t will ever be as good as walsh.

Interesting article notes that the last coach who lost back to back games as bad as tomsula was bill walsh in 1980, his first season.

I agree we can't go on losing by 40, but I also agree things need to play out more. Also, please tell him to stop analyzing game plan at pressers. Nobody wins there but our opponents next week.

His SECOND season.

After going 2-14 his first season.

BW would have never survived those two seasons going 8-24 in today's NFL.

Yes, things do need to be played out. However, Bill Walsh had coordinating and head coaching experience. To me, this seems like another Singletary situation. Players loved him, wanted to play for him, but he lacked the coaching staff and experience to put it all together.

This is what I was thinking as well. Same situation and eventually the players just didn't believe. Guys are not gonna wanna sign with this team again.

You guys don't get it. We could be 3-0 and I'd still be making fun of him. Doesn't have to do with the fact we're losing.

since we are maybe you should consider that.

i dont need to consider anything due to circumstance. I've had the same opinion of him since he was announced as being the new head coach. get a clue.

I don't think players loved Singletary as much as you think. A lot of them threw a party when he was fired.

They sure loved him and wanted him in the beginning.
