Not sure about that...Gabbert looks better and Kaepernick is on the bench. I didn't believe they'd have the courage to bench CK.

Wrong. Ray Mac, RJF, Dorsey, Soap, Ian Williams all got paid because they were developed by a darn good DL coach. No one is disputing his ineptness as a head coach, but give credit where it's due.

Agreed

I'm hearing that #49ers head coach Jim Tomsula will stay at least for start of 2016. But nothing official yet.

If this is true. I'm out. This teams belongs to the Yorks. Let them do whatever they want with it. Once they sell the team or appoint a competent person to run I will return. The Yorks are the problem. It'll be a decade or so for them to realize that, so I will turn a new page in my life in the mean time.

I don't like any other American sports, so I'll be looking forward to the pro cycling season (Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, etc.) and Formula 1. Instead of giving my money to the Yorks, I will spend that money to go see the US Grand Prix in Austin, TX. Those guys always put on a show, and my favorite team (Ferrari) actually has a passion for winning, and heads roll when it doesn't happen. Something the Yorks have none of.

The San Francisco 49ers belong to Eddie, this is the Santa Clara Yorks.

Man it's getting so trying to be a fan. I will always watch this team on local TV. I may skip a game here or there now though and I have already been so much more disinterested this year while watching. I didn't have much hope but the Vikings game made me think maybe we could have a killer run game and be competitive this year. Maybe not playoffs because of our division but it went to s**t so fast.

C Mon Jed. Get us the right guy(s) in here. None of us trust you to do it. Time to shatter the mold now punk
To be fair, Carlos Hyde's injury didn't help at all with that.

I'm not defending the coaching staff, which needs some major changes, but I'm saying that was part of the problem why our running game wasn't as strong this year, at least compared to that first game. That, and of course other teams planned against it.

Wasn't hard to plan against our offense. Especially with the way Kerplunk was playing. Hyde WA"S our offense. And our "inspired" play calling. Run,run, pass, punt.

What's worse than Jed not firing JT until later in the yr when all the good coaches are gone and that is what burned us This past yr...Jed couldn't make a decision until all the good talent was tied up. And you know who we got...the big nothing.
Jeez , Brew, Michigan A.D. Was playing footsie with harbaw back in July...it wasn't us, it was harbaw. Big article in Wall Street Journal on it.
The next coach they hire I hope they give him some say in the personnel Department. Take the reigns away from Team Obliterator Baalke.
To be honest, I'm not surprised. The Yorks got lucky with Harbaugh. What in their history of owning the 49ers suggests to anyone that they will do anything different? Fire Mooch. Then the mess that followed. Erickson. Nolan. Singletary. Tomsula. Harbaugh. Tomsula. I'm not expecting them to make any changes whatsoever.
This time tomorrow Tomsula will be fired.

I hope you're right. Something tells me he's gonna still be here, patrolling the sidelines with his characteristic impish walk with beads of sweat pouring off his forehead Ron Jeremy style.

And he will continue to use some flimsy excuses to keep JT around another year or two, because he can always count on the fans to come back when the games start up again.

I would normally agree, but the last few home games everyone talked about how few fans were in the seats. I mean, the announcers were ripping on the attendance throughout the game.
Tomsula entering his final 24 hours as our coach!

This. There's no way you win 4 games, get spanked by Cleveland and Detriot, lose your final 4 games, and get to keep your job.

Firing JT before the final game wouldn't solve anything. We start fresh Monday. It's the right thing to do.
