But to be clear, no final decision has been made on Tomsula by #49ers

Yeah, I could see the 49ers dropping 500 yds of offense and 40 pts on the Rams today. "We're clearly headed in the right direction and I've decided to retain coach Tomsula" -Jed York

Ugh..we need to get our asses kicked.
hire holmgren (could have an assistant to groom to take his place once he decides to leave Niners), if not you guys have to realize if Baalke has power to hire coach with no York interference,he's probably going to hire a first time coordinator which isn't to say is bad but that's the route he's going to go. His first choice is always going to be Parcells but he's not coming out of retirement. Coaches that are a stretch to get: David Shaw, Sean Payton, Nick Saban, Adam Gase Jon Gruden Bill Cowher. Not so far fetched: Holmgren (already expressed interest) Chuck Pagano, Eric Mangenius? , Hue Jackson (have to wait till playoffs are done) Ben Mcadoo

Yeah I've never wanted SF to lose more than today

We suck so bad, the game isn't even broadcasted where I am today and we're a strong Niner region. First time in a long time. Smh.

I live in Brazil and here they only 49er games that they broadcasted were the ones in prime time. I only watched all games because of the NFL Game Pass.

Spoke to one player who said Jim Tomsula, generally, was too player friendly and the younger roster needed a coach to push it harder.

I might need that next season if we continue to suck.

Seriously. Sounds like something Staley or Bow would say. Good to hear this from players. It just reinforces how over-his-head he is.

Sounds like we had the perfect coach for that who is now at a college university.
Actually hope tomsula stays

In the long run, we want the Yorks gone. The tomsula experiment has been a disaster and if could have lasted more than one year, would have been an even bigger disaster for the Yorks

Just gonna get the same old s**t, just looking different. We are gonna be entering the Nolan years again.

Remember all those reports last year saying how Harbaugh was too hard on the players, and didn't let them play cards on the plane and s**t

Wonder who said that.
My list in order of preference (not the most realistic options for many reasons)

1. Mike Holgrem - proven he can develop a young QB
2 . Mike Shanahan - Proven good coach and a great eye for talent.
3. Chip Kelly - Wild card - could be a great hire and a visionary or out of the NFL after the next stop.
4. Jon Gruden - long shot - making to much $ working a couple days a week.
5. Bill Cower - long shot - making to much $ working a couple days a week.
6. Josh McDaniels - long shot, i doubt he will take this job. I think he even turned down the interview last year.
