Are we officially headed back to the dark ages?!

Yup and the talent is worse than we had at the end of the Nolan era and the whole Sing era.

Not excusing the truth of the bolded, but because we were good (from 2011-13) we missed out on some talent due to draft positioning.

No excuses, Baalke's decisions/failures have helped to put the 49ers in the position they are now, and we appear to be worse off than before.

Yes, York ownership is a problem. But Jed wouldn't have been stupid enough to make the coaching change without his "football guy" telling him that coaches are dispensible. He hired a "football guy" for a reason. And that reason is that his father, just like other meddling owners that don't stay in their lane, are hated because they have no idea what they are doing. The most succesful franchises have a "football guy" in charge.

So who is that "football guy" here in San Francisco? The GM. Turns out the York's "football guy" has been giving him bad advice and running the franchise into the ground. If it was actually Jed that made the decision that Harbaugh had to go, then the GM threw his coach under the bus to save his job by not protesting. That's what happens when you don't have a spine. If he's just a pawn in this, which I doubt he is, then he allowed it to happen, so he is responsible because he didn't play his role as the "football guy" correctly.
Valid points. But I don't blame baalke nearly as much as York. Reportedly Trent was the last guy in the building supporting Harbaugh. You think if York fires Trent we will win? The problem starts with the owner. What about the story that Gase was supposedly told on their second jointer view he had to hire jimmy t as his dc? York York York. We got a dips**t owning this team. Who says super bowl or bust? Everyone laughs at this kid.

So we are losing worse with better talent.
Sweet.
Dark Ages,.....s**t we are going back to the stone age!!
It's looking like we're headed that way. Unless Baalke gets fired and changes are made from the top down it could get really bad for years to come. We need a new GM that will draft and sign actual talent and stop being cute going for these projects with potential.

I don't think we invented the wheel yet. Still living in caves and not sure how to make fire.

Lol.

Charlie Sheen says, "Winning."
Yes lady's an gentleman " We have been Yorked" but it's not all on him. Our Vets who threw harbs under the bus because they wanted a nicer softer coach are just as much to blame.

They got there players coach an now the Niners are back to being the losers they were from 2002-2010. Back in their comfort zone. They couldn't do what it takes to be winners. You have to suffer, winning is painful, it's difficult 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Somebody is always gunning for you. Our guys like the easy life. Players coach who respects them, respects their input. It's one big happy loser family.
Forsooth thou dost speak true.
Blaine Gabbert is our starting QB. We are officially back!

2003 49ers

I'd take the 2003 season over this year, easily. At least in 03, we actually looked like we were competitive in a game.

The 03 team would destroy this year's team. Hearst would have a field day on the ground.

Can you see this year's team putting 50 points up on anyone?

Don't get me wrong, it's still crap, just slightly better crap.
