-Tony Sparano has been added to the staff as a tight ends coach

-Eric Mangini is the new 49ers defensive coordinator.

Jason Tarver has been added to the staff, in what role remains unknown, likely defensive coordinator but that remains to be seen.

How they hire someone without their role being defined? Unless they haven't offically announced their role

They haven't yet announced his role. He's either going to be the defensive coordinator or the LB coach.

Would be quite thrilled if they hired Jim Schwartz. Would still be fine with Tarver as DC.

Schwartz would be great. Both guys are firey, I like that about Tarver.

Bummer, I was hoping for pin the name-tail on the donkey!

This is going to be interesting. You have to think Baalke has guys in mind.

I don't give a sh*t about this anymore, it doesn't matter who else we hire cos is going to be a train wreck at the end of the day anyway.

I saw Maiocco retweet BY as a possibility for DL coach.
