Member Milestone: This is post number 2,100 for FL9er.

I'm not getting my hopes up, but the thought is that Tomsula has some good contacts around the NFL for staff additions based on what I've read.

Also the reason the staff was purged was because of chemistry issues. Didn't want a Harbaugh guys vs Tomsula guys scenario unfolding. A new coach usually brings a new staff.

Don't believe the Fangio garbage that he would've stayed if Gase or some offensive coach would've been hired. That's BS coming from his agent and runs counter to Silver's report he wanted out unless he or Mike Shanahan was coach.

I agree, it would be awesome. Especially because someone like Shanahan will surely be able to assemble a great ensemble cast of position coaches.
