4 years of wasted talent on offense.

This x 100000000..........

Good point. I hope we have a lot of talent left, however, my fear is that the window of opportunity closed on some great veterans while Harbaugh was "imposing his will."

There is a thin edge when a team has some very good young players still on their inexpensive rookie contracts to balance the contracts of star players eating up a lot of cap. Right now we have a lot of good players coming up for new contracts with few established young players to offset their loss if the FO can't resign them.
Singletary was imposing his will as well. We've had a couple coaches like that. Jim was a considerable step up though from Sing still

Oh, here's the link.

Taking three years to figure out it's not working is an absolute worst case scenario. I think it really helps that the media has no belief in JT - it should light a fire under the team (at least for a while)

Williams was quoting Jason McIntyre from the Big Lead. (A USA Today blog)

damn that long
My only concern with this staff is can they nurture that weekly intensity it took to win weekly like jim did his first three seasons? Especially away from home. We were probably the best road team in the NFL 2011 2012 2013

Who's McIntyre and why should we care what he thinks?

You would think only the Jets retain a bumbling GM Coach combo for three years. But apparently Mr. Williams believes that the rest of the NFL operates the same way.

On a side note. Barry Switzer took a very talented team to the SB. Brian Billick(SP) took a very talented team to the SB. Mike Martz took a very talented team to the SB. Jon Gruden took a very talented team to the SB....... Anyone starting to see a theme here????

Who was on those coaching staffs though? Also I can't recall if any of those teams had questions at any positions. We have BIG questions at WR and CB position as of right now. Heck even the QB position is still questionable.

In bold - this is why your concerns are not my concerns.
