lol, wut. He has spent his entire coaching career working with Pete Carroll, a guy he played under while he was with the 49ers.

I'm really surprise he left or that they didn't try to retain him
Easy, he goes from lbs coach to d coordinator

Na, he was meant to be a Raider.

Remember how he wrecked BY's knee.

It was a career decision - becoming a coordinator pays more, and opens up other doors for his future.

I'm NOT a fan of the guy but I can understand the move.

a chance to be his own guy and make his own name instead of being under pete forever.

same reason roman and vic didn't follow harbaugh to michigan.

Pete told him he wouldn't be DC? Good move then.

Yeah, I remember that year. Seemed like where ever he went someone was getting hurt.

Pretty strong across the board when it comes to all of the position coaches...its the HC and coordinators that have question marks.

I hope Geep stays on the sidelines and has direct communication with Kap. Hiring Geep actually calms me down a bit, doesn't drastically alter the offense, just hopefully fix the BS that Harbaugh and Roman allowed.

I agree, that may prove to be a good thing. I just want to know when Curry is going to be announced as receivers coach.
Hope the entire staff is in the film room this week and over the coming weeks, watching our own players and helping with FAcy and the draft!

I think they have a fire lit under them and will come after his w/a vengeance to prove the naysayers wrong.

LSU has confirmed that WRs coach Adam Henry has accepted the same position with the 49ers http://FootballScoop.com/the-scoop

Henry's recent offer to join the 49ers in detail. He was approached by Texas, A&M, Florida and the Niners this year. Good coach.

At the time we recorded the show, Henry was considering staying. Big loss for LSU; but they aren't sitting idly. Are already working on it
