Heard from #49ers player who thinks changes to coaching staff will hurt team in 2015: "Everyone will see soon enough," he said.

depends who that player is. Is he a fringe player, backup, starter, on offense, defense?

I'm just going to assume all anonymous player reports come from Crabs or VD until proven otherwise

I figured it was him or AD. VD was looking for Chud as OC and AD has been vocal about coaching situations before.

I could also see it being a defensive player mad about Mangini

My nightmare scenario is the offense gets better, the defense gets worse, our record is below .500 and our genius fans say 'see? I told you we should have kept Harbaugh!"

it's not VD he was happy Tomsula was named the coach.

and whatever changes were made can't hurt the offense anymore than it was. Or the literally DIVIDED LOCKER ROOM that we just went through last season could it?

i wish whoever it was would attach their name to it so we could begin shipping those that feel like that out of here.

Crabs, no doubt! I think we informed him we won't make a play for him in FA so he took down his twitter tie to us. He's gone.

Could be, especially with how much Mangini was hated while in Cleveland as HC. Still, I have to think the defensive guys are probably ok with the staff because of Tomsula, who seems to be tight with all (or most) of them.

I get the sense it could be VD because he basically quit on the field last season and because he was stumping for Chud. And I suggest Crabs because, well, whenever there are issues with team chemistry I kind of assume Crabs has something to do with it. He's like our passive aggressive version of Doug Baldwin.
Whomever it is needs to STFU.

Even if you think that, going into the situation with that negative attitude becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy...IE, if you think the coaching will
screw the team you will subconsciously make it happen by being a cancer...by doing things like telling reporters that the coaching will hurt the team.

Its one thing to be fan or a member of the media and saying stuff. Its another if you are a player in the room who talks about coaches behind their backs and won't attribute his name. That's some BS right there. You got something to say? Man up and put your name on it.

could be. but by all means if someone doesn't want to be here let's review who it is and if they matter.
Albert Breer ‏@AlbertBreer

Niners staff includes 2 receivers coaches, 2 linebackers coaches, 4 quality control guys. Heard they'd have inside and outside WR coaches.

VD absolutely loves Tomsula. it's not VD.

Nice. none of that general stuff. Inside linebackers this is your focus, outside linebackers this is your focus and how you play off each other to be a great unit.

same with the offensive side of the ball. I would MUCH rather have this than random people hanging around consulting

Agreed completely, and throughout the last four years, there was always some player complaining about SOMETHING. Unfortunately, with the media and social networking sites, this stuff is all too prevalent in today's professional sports.
