Heard from #49ers player who thinks changes to coaching staff will hurt team in 2015: "Everyone will see soon enough," he said.

That player is right. Our entire coaching staff is made up of has beens or never was's.

Just like the last one.

"I just don't feel like we're us," Gore said. "It's just hard to get in a rhythm. It's just hard. It's just hard. As a player you need to be in a rhythm on the field to be successful. It's been tough all year to get in a rhythm."

Feel free to backup your claim with some quotes or a link or anything really

That doesn't really sound like a happy Frank Gore.

..oh yeah...here's a loser that was passed over as HC by his own team and had to go to College to get a HC gig. Loser.

Belichick was a highly successful defensive coordinator, won SB's with the Giants, as a head coach he took the Browns to the playoffs

Carroll was a successful defensive coordinator with the 49ers and didn't do a half bad job as HC of the Patriots, the ownership just had a twitchy finger. Plus he had tremendous success at USC.

Not one of those guys was considered a "has been or never was" prior to being hired by their current employers. I get the point that you're trying to make, but neither of them fit that particular description.

Who was Vic Fangio and Greg Roman before they got to the 49ers?

Both Vernon Davis and Frank Gore are unhappy with their roles in the 49ers' offense with three games left in the regular season. Change is certainly to come after the loss to the Oakland Raiders and David and Gore hope that results in more playing time for them on the field.

Davis spent a lot of time in the offseason looking to get a new contract. He held out for a portion of spring and fall workouts before showing up to training camp. His stats on the year certainly do not help his case to get more money. Davis' 44 yards on four catches in the season opener remain his best game of 2014. Heading into Week 15, he has just 25 catches for 236 yards and two touchdowns. Drops have been an issue which have decreased his opportunities to make plays, but the tight end is hopeful he is allowed to get more involved in the final weeks.

"I look at myself as a playmaker," Davis said, via the San Francisco Chronicle. "Not just someone who's blocking. I enjoy it. I would love to be involved a little bit more. I would love that. That would be amazing. But like I said, it's out of my control. All I can do is come here, show up and take care of my responsibilities."

Gore is echoing the words of his teammate, noting that it is simply hard to get into a rhythm with the type of offense San Francisco is running. After putting up three straight 1,000-yard seasons, Gore is suddenly splitting carries with rookie Carlos Hyde who is being touted as the future of the position. The 49ers had said they wanted to lower Gore's carries, but the running back is not happy with the 14.8 per game he is averaging.

"It's hard to get in a rhythm," Gore said. "As players, you have to be in a rhythm on the field to be successful. And it's been tough all year to get in a rhythm."

Crabtree
AD
Dahl
maybe Brooks (no idea who his beef was with)
maybe Skuta
gremlin in LaMichael James' old locker
Josh Johnson
Bubba Ventrone
some practice squad guy or backup
"Only once did the 49ers run Gore twice on the same set of downs. That sequence came in the first quarter when Gore picked up 5 yards on first-and-10, and 11 yards on second down.

"I thought when we were running the ball, we were doing a great job," Gore said after the 49ers' 24-13 loss to the Raiders. "The O-line was coming off the ball. We were having success. I think, I hope, I think, once we got behind, we felt like we had to do something different.

"I feel we were in the game. The coaches are the ones calling the plays. I'm out there to play. Whatever the coach calls, I'm going to give my teammates 110 percent, whatever play it is. It's tough."

Correct however the guys we have now especially as coordinators are not far off than the guys we had the past 4 years.

And we keep underselling the fact that universally the players love and respect him as a man as a coach and as a football mind and are actually looking forward to working with him. That is a big chunk of the battle right there. If Mangini were the head coach I'd feel this team was doomed. He is not he answers to Tomsula

on top of that, the position coaches are all bright minded individuals either with track record or up and coming.

People can undersell the staff if they want to because they aren't the sexy names they wanted. I am encouraged because the players will play for Tomsula and we have some pretty good teachers to help them get better from an x's and o's standpoint. not just line up and hope for the best.

So Tomsula didn't get promoted because Harbaugh, Nolan & Singletary were blackballing him?
