If Foerster is back and they bring in an OC that utilizes the zone blocking scheme, I totally get it as that is Foerster's strength in installing and coaching that scheme........otherwise I'm just going to think they're just f**king around.

Washington allowed more sacks than the 49ers did this year.

You guys think this is a joke? We blew up a top-3 or top-5 coaching staff in the league, to hire back everyone from the years when we were the worst team in the league. I'm so dumbfounded that I don't know what to say. I hope this team loses every game (it kills me to say this) so that Jed can finally get the point that he shouldn't be running this team.

Please. I wouldn't have expected you to lose your mind like this, NC. Do you really believe the Yorks would sell the team after getting a new stadium built just for them? Come on.

And, bringing back Foerester as O-line coach could be a great thing. I'd like to see some zone blocking going on - they've brought in linemen who can do it and you've got to think Kaepernick could get a decent pocket a little more often with zone blocking.

Assuming that is what the plan is....if it isn't, then they're clearly in over their head.

What could be more of a joke than people who call themselves "Niner fans" wishing that the team loses every game? Some of you people are so butthurt that it's making you crazy. Do you really hope the Niners lose every game? Really? As Niner fans, wouldn't it be better if most of us were proven wrong and things turned out all right?

He was terrible when he was here last. He was so bad they had to bring in another line coach in Solari if I remember correctly. Are they actually trying to help the offense at all? This just getting worse by the minute.

If you value a grudge over team success then you may not be as big a fan as you think you are.

I guess one of the things that bothers me the most is posters naturally just assuming that guys like Foerster and Tarver and Tomsula, for that matter, don't know what they're doing. Come on, everyone. Get real. These guys would never have made it to the NFL if there wasn't some talent there.
I'm just happy the FO had a plan before firing, oops "parting ways" with Harbaugh. It's a s**tty plan, but a plan nonetheless.

Don't have much experience? Coordinating for a team that ranks outside the top 20 teams for your respective duties? Were you a 49ers coach when we couldn't beat anyone? Come on down, we'll throw a couple pennies on the dollar at you and you've got the job.

Aliens from another planet who are diehard Seahawks fan have taken over Jed and Trent's bodies.

its just un-inspiring for a lot of people. its january theres a long time until september and when that rolls around we'll be cheering for the team to win. you also cant deny in the nfl that theres lots of coaches who go from team to team and never really win anything or do anything of note. its not as simple as i made it to the nfl so therefore i am a good coach. its very much a good ole boys network, help out your buddies

Chryst is gonna be the OC

Book it!
Chryst is probably middle-of-the-pack QB coach. Would have preferred an upgrade, but also could have done a lot worse if replacing him.

The OC will be key, along with the OL coach. If they go to zone blocking with Foerster that could indeed improve the pass protection for Kaep.

I do hope Chryst is not OC though. Need someone who has called plays before.
