I still have my VCR for that reason. They look so grainy compared to the HD 4K content we get now. The games flow much better though because there are fewer commercials and they don't stop to review every catch or tackle.

Purdy is essentially a rookie. He's going to make mistakes. And whether people like it or not…the defense and talent around him will have to carry him more often than the other way around. So here's to hoping these guys come out swinging after the bye.

So ur saying we have another QB where everything around him has to be elite and perfect.

Not elite and perfect, but giving up 24+ is traditionally a hard task to keep up with and 31 is usually too much for most QBs/offenses.

Russell Wilson couldn't win a game when the defense allowed 24+ for a few years into his career, and that's when defenses could play (and his in particular). I think that's notable since many of you think he was actually a top QB for many years, lol....

So yeah, reality is, Purdy probably would have won SB 54 for us, and would've gotten us into SB 56, possibly 57 as well.

I didn't expect him to be playing perfect football, but he can be counted on making throws from time to time that we couldn't trust from Jimmy or Alex.

What we really need (ironically) is our defense to resume to championship level. We are totally not built to win any other way.....

Purdy's not top 5 like Burrow, but if you insist on having that, it's gonna take serious ass luck/tanking to get that.

I went on a road trip this weekend and missed the game entirely.

We are going to get utterly pwned the next two games and will be 5-5. Seaclucks will have a 2 game division lead on us heading into the Thanksgiving showdown. But something will click with the team and we will beat them like a drum and go on a streak that will surpass last year's in terms of the ultimate outcome. You heard it here first!

Next 2 weeks of "the sky is falling" gonna be hilarious

Ugh, there is no silver lining. The team has lost its intensity and fire. I'm most jealous of the Eagles for their O line. It is pathetic that we can't convert on 3rd or 4th and short.

I think people are going to really see how important Trent Williams is to this team. Without him, we can't get the run game going consistently. No run game means we can't control the TOP, and our not very good DC gets exposed. Now that our DC gets smoked, we have to fall into a pass heavy attack, which is not what this team is designed to do.

It's the problem with complimentary football. Any part falls down, the rest have to over compensate, which it's not designed to do. When Trent comes back and we can control the run game and TOP, you'll start seeing a lot of the glaring problems recede
