Thanks for a true silver lining not like most other troll post.
Superman had his kryptonite, Kyle has his too (more than one unfortunately) with Spagnuolo.
This D played a great game against the best QB in the league giving him his lowest QB rating in his career !
Every team on our schedule is beatable but the Lions and packers.
Our division is bad and we could win it with 9-7 record
Just posted in the Lynch thread. This is looking like a very good draft class. Better by the week tbh.
Very good youth showing up. That's is only bright spot right now.

Yeah this division is cheeks this year. Won't be surprised if the division winner has a losing record

this entire year is moistbuttcheeks
No one associated with the team and organization has died so far despite a couple of close calls. Other than that there is not much else that's positive right now.
People have concerns about Shanalynch being able to restock and get back to SB contention, but the thing is... they already did.

2019 final roster was 79 guys (53 + 26 PS/IR/post-Sept cuts who were on 53 or PS at some point)
2023 final roster was 80 guys (53 + 27 PS/IR/post-Sept cuts who were on 53 or PS at some point)

The only starters on the 2023 playoff roster that were on the 2019 playoff roster were Juszczyk, Deebo, Kittle, Armstead, Bosa, Givens, Greenlaw, Warner, and Wishnowsky. That's 9 guys out of 25 (counting the 3 ST starters). Armstead and Givens are already gone for 2024. There were 4 other guys who were on both 2019 and 2023 playoff rosters and were either backups or on IR for one or both - Garoppolo, Dwelley, Barrett, and Flannagin-Fowles. 2 of those guys are also already gone for 2024.

They turned over 14 starters and 50+ backup/PS/IR players between 2019 and 2023.

Obviously the top level guys are harder to replace, but we're talking the QB, entire OL, and the entire DB starting units were changed over between SB runs, and many other positions as well.

Yes, it's not easy to lose a Greenlaw, Kittle or a Deebo as they age out, but it can be done.

At this point Brock is going to have to pay the niners to play qb next year.

Those core players are what made this team go though. Kittle is a borderline HoF tight end. I have no idea what they do at TE after Kittle. There are so many TE busts recently in the league. Deebo was one of a kind weapon but hes probably the most replaceable, him and Greenlaw in terms of playing... But Greenlaw and Deebo impact go beyond playing on the field they are heart of this team along with Warner.

Bosa and Warner will stay long-term and theyre young enough where they can play for a bit.

We get to (further) see what Brock's made of through this adversity
I'm not sure if this is a defeatist attitude or not but this team is probably looking at a .500 to .600 season after all these injuries and developments this year. In many ways the pressure is off so they can relax a bit, have some fun and focus on developing some of the younger players.
