Bellichik proves again: it's not about the players, it's about the COACH & him having the players HE wants to play HIS schemes. Thank God that's the same structure we have here. Is that positive enough?

We're locked up well financially with just a couple internal guys to sign and/or extend.
paying Wilson will lock them up financially.
What makes you think Lynch will retire?
Lynch wanted to retire THIS year. Now that he's acquired a million dollar in extra fines this year, how much he hates the NFL FO, the media frenzy around his anti-media approach, etc. why bother? He's done and he suffered through quite a few injuries this year as expected on back to back deep playoff runs. Look what happened to us...18 players on I.R.

Also, paying Wilson, they are NOW going to have to pay him way more than CK b/c it's a year later (market increase) and he's been to 2 Superbowls. Even prior to Wilson's contract, they lost a lot of players b/c they couldn't afford them and as a result, one injury crushed their pass rush and they were forced to use Ricardo Lockette as a primary receiver. Think about that for a second. Once they lock up Wilson coupled with other top contracts to Sherman, Thomas, etc. they will be forced to go thin in many areas, etc. They would NEVER be able to sustain 18 I.R. injuries like we did this past year and going into year 3 of deep playoff runs, expect to see some actual, significant injuries. It's inevitable.

and i think we were looking for a coach who does not have to have the spotlight always on him,, and a coach who does not have to always generate, create or prolong drama.. in regards to REB4.. that is why every year i chuckle and then have to yell at those who scream about us not signing big name free agents.. that is not what we do,, we look for the right guy to fit into our locker room and schemes .

Are you comparing Tomsula to Bellichik? Wow. That's a bold statement.

The San Francisco 49ers have scored TDs on the play that was intercepted to end the Super Bowl. Delanie Walker against the Lions comes to mind.

Agreed.
But with also one not so small caveat. You have the second best QB of all time pulling the trigger....

It would be fun to break down that game and see how many difficult decisions Brady even had to make...tough throws. They game planned very well for him and took advantage of Seattle's weaknesses, no doubt. But for the most part, it was one quick pass-design after another mixed in with a few calculated deeper shots down the field.
