The scheduler makers really screwed us...playing tough teams who are coming off a bye. They did that somewhat last year but we over came it.

Now that the season is over... looking forward to a fresh revamped team and a lot excitement this off-season. I'm sure there will be a top to bottom review of coaches and players. Coming off a Superbowl year, you tend to overlook these things and become complacent.

This team started off in a bad situation for continuity. Injuries, holdouts etc. The DC is not up to the task and it showed all year. But the Offense didn't help either. As far as I can see we definitely need 2-3 better players on the OL by trade or draft. Defensively we need a good DT and Edge rusher to help Bosa. The whole team doesn't need to be rebuilt but they definitely need to evaluate the roster. Young and old players. From my perspective the team is really not that far off from playing good football. Mistakes, injuries and lack of discipline have all been a factor this year. It sucks but I think they will figure it out and hopefully next year will be a lot better. We shall see in the offseason. JMHO, and I have been a fan since the mid Seventies and I have seen some great and really really bad coaches and managers. Anyway….Happy Holidays everyone

2. Over $50 mil in cap space to help fix our problems.
3. Possible top 15 pick in the draft to an already stacked team.
4. Possible new DC and ST coaches.

Silver has turned to pewter.There are going to have to be releases, draft picks to fill voids, and free agent signings. And they are, mostly, going to have to be solid. I have a list which, I feel, would get us back into the playoffs. And back on top of the NFC West: another top Tackle; another Guard and Center; a blocking TE who can catch or a TE who can catch AND block; a disruptive DT; an ER to compliment Nicky; safties who can stay healthy

I have full faith in ShannyLynchs' drafting. Just no high pick QBs and or High pick Kickers please.
