With loss to Detroit we lock up 4th place in NFC West. MUCH easier schedule next year as a result.

I am not knowledgeable enough to diagnose the weaknesses on defense. I just know it is there and I hope Shanahan and Lynch can get it fixed in time for next season. I do know that Hufanga will be better and Greenlaw will also help, provided we sign him. But something else isn't quite right and I cannot put my finger on it.

Lions probably came into this game thinking they would Belt to A** and get sweet revenge, but they were scared and worried all game and barely beat us by 6 pts with 2 missed FGs and 2 turnovers. Their confidence is definitely down going into Minnie.
