I see them taking OT or DL with the 1st pick and then trading up into the end of the 1st round to get OT or DL. Example could be DT Kenneth Grant at 11 and then OT Wyatt Milum/Aireontae Ersery. They traded up in 2017 (Foster) and 2020 (Aiyuk) so they have history of making that kind of move.

Very definitely the first 2 picks should be offensive line and defensive line. Now if one of the elite Safety's is sitting there who has speed and can cover you have to consider it. To pair with Mustapha for the future. LB needs speed and we don't know if we can rely on Greenlaw anymore. But I would still lean heavily offensive line and defensive line for the first 2 picks. Whether we trade up for the 2nd or stay put at what is now #43. We just have to build the lines. Realistically this is a 3 year reload or rebuild. You can't fix all our holes in 1 year. They can't keep ignoring the lines so I would build that first. The fastest way to significantly better is building the lines. Bigger, more powerful, faster, younger and more healthy.

I said this before last season. I wanted Mason to get 6 or more carries a game even if CMC was completely healthy. This to me is one of Kyle's biggest flaw. Yup. Like I said. We are next years Philadelphia Eagles. We had a horrendous DC and historical injuries to all pros/pro bowls players missing games (among other things like moody, Brendel and underperforming players and hold outs).

13-4 (with some injuries) book it

Also, there is no way we can have a rest disadvantage and record setting opponents coming off bye weeks (5) again right?

then add DBs and WRs at later rounds

only extend purdy if the price is right for the team. if not, let him play the final year and then see how he progresses. worst case scenario we can franchise tag him

fire sorensen and the ST coach. release deebo and hargrave, and revamp the trenches.

Gibbs is arguably the best RB on the Lions but he gets a fair number of snaps off.

I don't think there's anyway Purdy would play under his current deal.

Agree we need both sides of the LOS.

We need a Safety that can cover. The rest will be fine if we can keep Ward.

Purdy will get paid market rate. Franchise tag is out of the question.

Deebo will cost far too much to release. Hargrave will cost a $14 million cap hit. They both stay.

Silver lining? Next season, we can't drop lower than where we are now in NFC West division rankings.
