I don't think this team is void of talent as I keep reading in forums. I feel we're missing a few key playmakers from being a playoff team. 1st and foremost a qb who can read defenses and make throws. I feel we could've won at least 5 games if our qb play was better(via Dallas game). I feel like our line is 1 major piece away. I was hype at the beginning of the season thinking A. Davis would transfer to guard. With Tiller, Garnett, and Brown still growing. I like Harris as a change of pace back but wouldn't be mad for a upgrade. I feel like our receives are get the short end of the stick with criticism. Granted we don't have a true #1 but with players like Kerley in the slot with deep threats like Eric Rogers and and under rated/appreciated Torrey Smith and player like Corey Davis or Alshon Jeffery would be pretty formidable with Vance Mac. Ian Williams and Glen Dorsey surrounded by Myles Garrett, AA, DeBuck, Lynch, Blair, Jones is a stout D line. Bowman, Ray Ray, and maybe LSU Ilb or Manti Te'o is rotational artwork. I feel like we have pieces but our secondary is what challenge me mostly. Being that I always wanted Marcus Peters I do want that play making DB but apart of me feels like with the right coaching we can get back to bringing those who was outcasted back to pro bowl caliber players like we did with Parish Cox, Carlos Rogers, Witner, Culliver, Goldston etc....
In light of todays events, a bump is well deserved. Looking back at the delusion is hilarious for those who saw this coming all along

Exactly why the argument over which team was worse ('04 or '16) is a terrible thread
We have to have the most interesting fan base in all of sports
We have had a great draft and are positive about our future.

Lynch looks like the man to lead us out of the wilderness.

No losses so far! I think this year is going good!
And the 9er Faithful are fairly positive so far.
We're gonna punch the panthers right in their mouths week 1 and get yet another opening game victory. Then, the real fun and discussions begin
We are then going to go on a run like we did in the first 3 games of 1980

WeekDateOpponentResultAttendance1
September 7, 1980 at New Orleans SaintsW 26–2358,62
12September 14, 1980 St. Louis CardinalsW 24–2149,9993
September 21, 1980 at New York JetsW 37–27 50,608

then next year, we will do what we did in 1981.
Don't juice this up too much... i want to get my bet down when the line in Vegas is 4.5 and i am taking the over. We are going to win a heckuva lot more than that.
I'd get on soon. The line number may change if any of the Vegas odds makers are reading this site.
Man, can't complain about the direction the team is going! Everything is a competition, no job is safe. Love, love, love it!
And it looks like a lovely sunny day at practice.
So if we went 5-11 last year... what record would y'all would put on this season or your expectation of our record.

Just curious how this changes guesses or stances.
It is not just the Ws and Ls.

It is about intent

and how we play out games

I expect our D to be awesome this year.

Our O is a little bit behind them atm.

But next years draft we gonna deal with that.
