We will get a better draft pick next season, and there are lots of edge rushers in next years draft!

If the Defense can pick it up, and this new look O-line can keep C.J. upright, we can win a few games and keep the season fun and intereasting!

On a glass half full, hopefully we can develop CJ more and with any luck he won't hold on to the ball much longer than Jimmy did this year. Definitely a less exciting team to watch this year, but we should get a better draft pick to finally address the ER and maybe even get a new DC next year that can chirp in Lynch's ear until it falls off that we need more pass rushers instead of run stoppers. Drinking in Nashville at the draft is always more fun with a top 10 pick!

Real silver lining:

No chance of going 0-16 this year.

Maybe because the Eagles had a great defense while the Niners' D is terrible, and Foles is a serviceable QB and Beathard isn't very good.

Another silver lining...Richard Sherman has calf strain (related to the Achilles injury? maybe) but not out for the season.

he has more experience than he did last year at this time. i know. its not much but am trying to follow what this thread is supposed to be

The season still goes on, play to win the game, stay positive. Besides, there is nothing else we can do. Buck up and play.

There is no bright side! You know how hard it is going to be next year trying to decide if we should start our 135 Million dollar franchise QB or last years Super Bowl MVP CJ Beathard? It will not be easy! Just ask the Eagles...... this sucks.

LOL! You can tell the posters who weren't here for the Nolan Sr. years or the Nolan Jr. years...this is not a bad team, just a team in transition. It is no worse than Walsh's first two years, actually better. But who knows? You can't just wave a magic wand and win a SB.
